LOL huh? No, I know that it can fit into my pocket... I just don't know if it can with some certain cases.

I'm honestly surprised this isn't more of a concern for more people. Imagine if your phone couldn't fit into your pocket. You have to remember that I want to use this as my on-the-go portable device, much like you guys have for your phones. I won't be carrying around a backpack or be attaching it onto my hip or something stupid; I need to have this thing on my person as you could with the PSP.

not sure most people expect to really be out and about using the Vita aside from traveling and commute. Also, i'd say a lot of people now have smartphones that perform the functions that are most important to you so the portability of the Vita isn't that big of a concern. I know you said you like your keys on your phone but you should really look at getting smartphone. Vita is a gaming machine first and foremost. I doubt it does anything else like music and movies well. I just think your're driving yourself nuts worrying about the other stuff. That 32gb card you're considering is $100. That's just silly.

I think there is a difference between trying to fit my cell phone in my pockets and a gaming device. The cell phone in my book takes priority.

SoMiss, I expect to use this when on break from work mostly. All I bring is a laptop case which fits... well... my laptop. Again, it's slim enough just for that, and not really much else. I doubt I could fit my Vita in that case as well. It's best to be in one of my pockets, which it can fit into... with the right case. I already have a case in mind; I only said I wonder how the Custom Crystal Case would do.

I didn't pre order one, it releases today.

I'll have to go pick one up for sure.

EDIT: Just realized only the 3G is dropping today, I'll wait for the WiFi only one. FIFA & The Show are must haves for me.

Any other sporting titles coming about?

So there were no midnight releases for it?

Will people be able to walk into stores and get the first edition today? I was under the impressions unless you preordered, you would have to wait until next week.

I'll have to go pick one up for sure.

EDIT: Just realized only the 3G is dropping today, I'll wait for the WiFi only one. FIFA & The Show are must haves for me.

It's the 3G/Wi-Fi version today. If you wanted to have the option for both... but I just want the Wi-Fi version, which is $100 cheaper than the one today. I know if I go into the store and see one sitting there I will be tempted.

Hell if I knew the policy on returns I would be tempted to pick up Wi-Fi/3G bundle and then return it next week for Wi-Fi only.

There was a midnight release at my Gamestop. I preordered the first edition bundle but I don't do midnight releases normally. Have to work the next day so I ll just wait until after work today to pick mine up. Even if I would have went and picked mine up at midnight, I wouldnt have had a chance to play it anyway until after work.

Pre ordered the wifi Vita with a case, 8 GB memory card and 3 games (the show, uncharted and wipeout) today. Cant wait!

I have had my Vita for 2 months now, I have been under plenty stress, I hope I can start playing now.

Best buy has a return policy where you can return it within 30 days. I would just wait, I'm not sure what ties to the handheld with games/memory card. Sony has never been good in this area unlike 360 where you can swap out HDD between multiple systems without an issue.
