Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
I definitely won't be getting Uncharted at launch. No multiplayer and $49.99? No thanks.
I played some Little Deviants today, and it was okay, but only some of the level types were fun. Others, not so much. The demo actually had a lot as is, so I think that might be enough for some people. Chances are I'm still sticking with ModNation Racers and MLB The Show for my first games.
My PSN is Blzer. Millennium, I might have removed you when my friends list was full because you were the least recently active on my list. I'll have to double-check that, but if I did remove you I'll re-add you.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment

Lumines: Electronic Symphony Review = 9.0
Closing Comments
Load times could be a bit shorter and I wouldn't mind seeing the price come down, but Lumines: Electronic Symphony is amazing. It's the simple puzzle game we've known for a while coupled with new mechanics like the shuffle block and the Vita's connectivity. It's a fun, addictive title that I won't stop playing anytime soon.Crazy to think with Uncharted releasing on this system and I'm way more excited for a puzzle game. LOL!

Vita 3G Bundle Includes Super Stardust Delta
With no additional cost.
UPDATE: Below is last month's story detailing the 3G PlayStation Vita bundle. However, today, we've learned that the game that comes with the 3G version of the handheld is none other than Super Stardust Delta and the Advanced Star Fighter DLC. The original story follows.Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
I'm getting Uncharted on release, along with Hot Shots. Unlike some of the pretenders (cough George cough) I am a huge UC fan.
Lol, I kid, but I've wanted a portable UC for a long time, and with the amount of treasures and collectibles I've read about it having, this game will be well worth my $50.
Along with Hot Shots, and The Show two weeks later, I should be set for a while.Comment

I've got two 15 hour flights in April, so I'll have Uncharted for those. What's the battery situation with the vita, is it removable so you can buy a second one?

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
I loved Lumines on the PSP. New one should be great.
I'm considering canceling my 3G preorder and getting the WiFi only version. Then I'd put the 50 I'm saving towards a 32 GB memory card.
Super Stardust looks neat enough, but it's only ten bucks if I decided I wanted it later. I probably will never use the 3G (don't want to pay for it), and would eventually upgrade my memory card anyway.Comment

I thought I had read somewhere that a 3rd party battery pack will be available at some point.Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
No, its an internal battery like PSPGo. This was done to help cut down on the piracy. The external battery of the original PSP is what helped open the system to piracy. Hackers found an exploit which worked very well.
I thought I had read somewhere that a 3rd party battery pack will be available at some point.
Reason why the battery let people pirate on the PSP is because Sony used it as a method to enter service mode and allegedly sent a battery and memory stick to a customer and that's how they figured out how to do it (the reality, I would suspect, is that someone from a Sony repair facility released or sold either the actual hardware or the knowledge and the "Sony accidentally sent it to a customer" story is to protect that person).Comment

Re: PSVITA Handheld Information
EDIT: Nevermind, looks like it's only a $10 title. I guess I'll just buy it on the first day then.Last edited by Blzer; 02-14-2012, 01:59 AM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
