    Re: Sony PSVITA Discussion

So, what's the best way to go about copying data from one memory card to another?

Specifically, I want my PS All-Stars save file on the 32 GB instead of the 4 GB that I started with. I do have PS+, so I was thinking cloud save would be the best way to go? I still haven't figured out how to copy stuff to the cloud from the vita though.

When I switched from my 4gb to my 16gb I just backed the 4gb up to the PS3 and then restored to the 16gb.

That's how I did it also. Pretty painless.

I saw a youtube vid on how to save using your ps3 then inserting your new card.

Does it erase what was on my old card? Do I need to "clean up" my old card if I want to sell or trade it in? Will I have to re-download the games I bought or will they transfer over from the card, etc.

If anyone has gone through the process your help would be appreciated.

I also wish it was a 64 gb card or bigger, I'm having visions of upgrading my 60gb fatty to 250, then to 500. Remember when we thought 120 on the consoles would be plenty?, lol.

I'm the guy here without a PS3 - I need to move my saved games from my 4GB to my new 16 GB. What's the best way without a PS3 - Cloud? PC? Thanks!

You can do the same with a pc, it's only easier with a ps3 because you don't have to download the content manager assistant like with a pc.

I'll be getting Ratchet & Clank for free once it releases. I got it on PS3 for Christmas, so I'll wait for that available download so I can play some of the story while away from the house.

After months of hints my wife purchased the Vita for me!! She picked the up the version below and I picked up a 32 GB card from Best Buy for 60 (sony.com price match + reward zone money).

I also got the PDP grips I read mentioned here often. Once I get settled down with it, maybe I will be gaming with you guys.

Thanks for the help with the memory card stuff.

Don't know if I'll keep the 16gb card when I use the 32, plus (thanks to ps plus) I can trade in in Uncharted for store credit.

The Vita is an amazing device, I hope more people buy them and it survives and thrives, this is the best handheld ever, I would hate to see it dry up.

I see a lot of Vita commercials so it seems Sony hasn't given up, they need to let everyone know about all the PSP games available now to download as well for people on the fence worried about the relatively small amount of games on the system.

I still need to play the first, but the follow up to Corpse Party is releasing next week. It's a survival horror adventure game/visual novel.

Corpse Party: Book of Shadows is Coming, And It Knows No Mercy

Well, the time is almost upon us. A week from today – Tuesday, January 15th, 2013 – Corpse Party: Book of Shadows will be available for purchase on the North American PlayStation Store for $19.99, with a European release to follow shortly thereafter. It’s been a long journey getting this game to you guys, so it seemed prudent to give you all a bit more information about it. After all, an appetite for blood and dismay is at its best when thoroughly whetted…

And since each chapter in Corpse Party: Book of Shadows tells its own standalone story, I thought the best way to make you salivate even more would be to give a brief, spoiler-free introduction to each one. So without further ado, here’s a taste of what’s in store for you when you fire up your PSP (or PS Vita) next week.
                              Official Site:

                              • Classic point-and-click gameplay enhances the series' rich atmosphere
More realistically-proportioned and immersive first-person environments with ending routes based solely on player decisions eliminate reliance on reflexes over strategy.

                              • "Darkening" system emphasizes the need to keep calm
Characters gradually become frightened and unstable, distorting the game's graphics and altering their decision-making abilities.

                              • Focus on side-characters and characters who received less "screen time" originally
The already robust cast from the original is further humanized, adding to the game's immersion and preying on the player's sense of empathy.

                              • Full Japanese voice-acting and twice the binaural 3D audio effects
Original Japanese voices are kept intact for authenticity, and players can feel like they're part of the action by hearing speech, screams and spooky sounds coming from literally all around them when played with headphones.

                              • Text-skipping, fast-forward and save-anywhere features minimize repetition
Players caught by "wrong ends" can easily redo whatever actions may have damned them by skipping and fast-forwarding through any scene in the game, as well as keeping ample saves on hand at crucial turning points (even if they're in the middle of conversations).

                              • Unlockable bonus features offer additional incentives to thorough players
Completing chapters and viewing specific scenes unlocks art stills, music tracks, voice-actor interviews and more. Data from the first Corpse Party can be loaded for additional content, and viewing the game's true ending unlocks a special mode where custom conversations may be constructed from a selection of the game's voiced lines.
