you can always buy the one year warranty for $29.99 or 2 years for $49.99, I think that a good deal. I have yet to buy the warranty.

I would hit him with $150 and if he doesn't have a receipt I would offer $100. That's just me

        Yeah, for legality reasons....

I've gotten a bunch of stuff (lawnmower, ladder, other house stuff) cheap and used on Craigslist, but electronics still make me hesitant.

Tempting though, I saw a few 120ish offers for a Vita, that's a great deal!

That game looks really muddy, for lack of a better term. The frame they put on that video probably doesn't help any.

Does the $200 include a memory card? If not you're shelling out another $100 for a 32gb card.

Framerate is at 30 FPS (or at least not 60) and the changes made from 12 to 13 on PS3 weren't brought over to Vita, from what I hear. At least not the bigger changes.

Keep in mind, you pay $250 for system, then you HAVE to buy a memory card (most on CL come with an 8gb) so theres another $30, so after tax you are sitting at around ~$310 depending on your state. You buy a few games (even used) you are looking at around $350-380. So actually, $200 is not a bad price.

Any recent releases I should be looking out for or some games that are likely cheaper now ? I would like to buy one sports game, one shooter, one adventure, and one arcade-like game.

I think it's cool that I can download some PS1 classics for this thing too.

I tried to get out and buy one yesterday, but I've been so busy with life.

Shooter: UNIT 13 was a very fun game IMO.

Uncharted: Golden Abyss is really good.

I'm also fond of the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection (you can share save files with the PS3 version, too).

Sports game, man, there's actually a few that I'd recommend:

FIFA Soccer (can be had for a cheap price but is a really good game)
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational (same)
Madden 13 (not sure on price but this is better than the console version, imo)
MLB The Show (may as well wait and get 13, but 12 is really good if you want to save money)
Virtua Tennis 4 (can find this pretty cheap. I've been playing this a lot recently).
                          Currently Playing:
                          MLB The Show 25 (PS5)

I'd suggest joining Plus, Uncharted, Wipeout, and Gravity Rush are all good and free.

Do any of you have the Wifi/3G version ? I don't think I would use it much or be willing to frequently buy data for it. I did notice that for $50 more it comes with a few downloadables and a small memory stick.
