    Re: 360 Losing luster.....

360 is my go to system. PS3 gets exclusives and blu-rays for the most part. I only rented COD for the PS3 becasue my friends were supposed to get on there but they never did. My Wii is for Nintendo exclusives. I keep wanting to sell the thing, but as soon as I get to the last exclusive I want to play, they announce another classic.

I definitely agree that MS needs a few more exclusives though. Just to make the system even more intriguing.

Every time I get a PS3, I always end up trading it in or selling it. I do think that the PS3 is a superb system but all my friends are on Xbox and I have been on the 360 since its launch.

If I have another 360 go down I think I'm going to go straight Sony. My elite went down earlier in the month and I got a slim to replace it and then the slim I got broke down in six days. Luckily I was able to exchange for a new one but still that's unacceptable.

In all honesty, if my friends weren't all on the XBOX, I would have made the jump. The PS3 just seems so much better in terms of quality. I do think that a few of my friends are considering getting the PS3. We'll see. I have too many games for my 360 to give it up. Only have two games for the PS3 for now.

Unless you are referring to exclusives. The 360 is just a better gaming console for 3rd party games and on line interactive

I do love the exclusives on the ps3 better but i get those every couple of years or 3

3rd party sports games are every year and they are just better on 360

I use to be a total PS guy but once I stsarted seeing that most sports games seem to be developed on the 360 then exported to the PS, I had to get a 360 and I have never been happier! I still love my PS3 for games like The Show but any other sports game is bought for the 360.

3rd Party games are basically the same for both systems. The First party games are solid for both platforms so I dont know how you came to that conclusion. The Only games I miss on the PS3 is The Show and Uncharted, Fortunately for me Left4dead, Mass Effect, Halo, Gears of War, and Fable make up for it.

Since I have NO problem paying for Live, the only thing I am missing is a bluray and I have a bluray. Online Play is important to me and the online experience Microsoft offers is the gold standard right now, Sony does not even come close to it.

I'm thinking about picking up a used "fat 360" for cheap to play a couple of games online with my best friend (madden, smack down, nba2k) I looked up some videos on YouTube on how to connect to live wirelessly using a laptop in order to circumvent the whole wireless adapter issue. Has anyone done this with their 360?

My elite started flashing two red lights after a minute of being turned on and all the solutions I looked up failed. The Slim quit reading discs and I began to get the "Open Tray" error.

I did this for the better part of a year, before I got the 250GB Slim version. Not hard at all. It's very simple to set up, and I had no lag at all playing online, etc.

Honestly, a lot of my friends I have on my Xbox have stopped playing as much because they are growing out of video games. I've drifted less and less from online gaming anyway and do mostly single-player stuff.

I miss not being able to play the Show and Uncharted. I imagine that by this time next year I might be PS3 gamer with the 360 collecting dust. Will never get rid of it though.

I'm still liking my 360 well. I've only played PS3s a handful of time over at friend's houses/dorms. I'm perfectly content with the 360. I'd like of like to play The Show, but I'm not much of a baseball fan, so it's no big loss to me.

My 360 broke down three times in the first nine months or so, but it's been working perfectly for over two years now since they finally gave me a new one.

                              IGN: 360 Year In Review

Next November marks the 10-year anniversary of Microsoft's entry into the console market and to celebrate, they seem to have an amazing line-up set to go. The big game announcements haven't even begun, but from what I know 2011 should be a killer year.
                              Eurogamer

Eurogamer: Oh well. A few people said they were concerned about the Xbox 360 release schedule for 2011 - it's looking a bit empty so far. When are you going to announce more non-Kinect games?

Steve McGill: Right now we've got to get through the Kinect launch and we don't want anything we do to defocus from that. We'll make more announcements in due course. I'm not going to make any today.

But the line-up of non-Kinect games for 2011 is amazing. I'm excited about it. I'm confident about it. I have no doubts, that's all I can say.
                              Gameindustry.biz

Stephen McGill: Obviously we're not going to announce any third-party products on their behalf, but one that we've announced, that we're going to be developing with Crytek, is Kingdoms. That's a brand new IP that has a really good future next year.

I love my 360, had it since launch, but there are times I wish I would have kept my PS3 as well.. The Show, Killzone, new Twisted Metal and the fact I don't have a blu ray player.
