I think they stopped making those, so technically it's worth how much you paid for them

Thanks iLL. I didn't pay a thing for them. They were "tossed in" on a trade. They're perfect condition though.

Hey guys looking for some advice. Its time for a new headset but I dont really want to spend $100 on one(but I am willing). I am fine with the generic mics but cant seem to find one that has a 3 prong base like the original mics had. I was told they dont make them like that anymore.

All I am really concerned about is voice quality. Im not to worried about the surround sound, just hearing what people are saying. I am open to wireless or a nice pair of TB's but its nothing I need. I would but a new generic one but I dont like the connection to the controller as I feel it leads to your mic cutting out a lot and I cant stand that.

Any advice?

sb24, I got the Turtle Beach Earforce X12 for my son to use with his 360 and they work extremely well. 60 bucks in most places, excellent bass and good sound overall, wired, decent mic.

Just ordered astro A40 auido system, very excited. Being able to use it with all 3 of my systems is a plus for me. Just need Swtor to hurry up.

I have this exact set and enjoy it quite a bit. I've never owned another set of headphones so I can't really compare. They sound good and my friends say the chat sounds great. The biggest reason I got these over others was because could use them with PC/PS3/360.
