Sorry but there is. I like quality headsets. I've tried Afterglows, A40, A50, X21, XP42, Pulse, Triton 720, XP Seven, and the Afterglows are by far the worst of the group. Comfort, features and sound quality wise. The headset itself is so far behind what other companies are doing you need the adapter for the new Xboxs.

Don't get me wrong, Afterglows are a good headset for under 100$, but they just don't come close to a high quality product. I'd rather spend 150$ more and get something that will last longer and have better sound, not to mention features and comfort.

Actually, it does make it not worth it because of the price. Out of all the headphones I've tried, whether it be Tritton, Turtle Beach or Afterglow, the Afterglow are the only ones worth the price for what you get.

Amazing sounds quality is all that matters, and you get that for under $100 with the Afterglow.

Again, no justifying spending $150, $200 more for the same thing.

        We'll agree to disagree, though.

They are not the same thing, but keep telling yourself that. I'll end it here, and I've tried more than just the Afterglows.

I have tried others as well because.. you know.. Best Buy has set ups so they can try them, and I'll end it here.. they sound exactly the same. You keep telling yourself they don't.

Buddy, I own all 3 pairs. I can tell the difference between a Dolby certified headset and a Afterglow (kings of cheap accessories).

                Well, good for you, buddy.

They all sound the same to me, so I get a lot more from $100 then $300.

I'm not saying they're bad...they're just not comparable to what Astro and TB puts out. It's like comparing a HTIB to Bose or Klipsch.

And that's your opinion, just like this is mine.

Every best buy i ever go to never has the high end headsets for demo. They have the average headsets only. I highly doubt you tested the seven or even the astro headsets

I think I'm down to the TB X-Rays or the pulse elites.

I love the a50's that my wife got me for Christmas. I really like that they have updates for the entire unit.
I am the lesson after the fall.

I think I will get the pulses in the very near future. Every review seems fairly positive for them.

The highest model they have on display is the 400s.
