Ugh... need some help
Ok, At home I play my Xbox 360 on a nice HDTV, but when I'm away for school I have a standard TV, but I realized that on the back it has 5 component inputs. I went and bought a component cable for my Xbox 360, which I has 6 prongs. My question is will I notice a difference using the component cables on my standard TV as opposed to using the composite cables that come with the Xbox 360? Also what is the extra yellow prong for? I just leave it disconnected, or is there supposed to be 6 places to plug it in?Tags: None -

Re: Ugh... need some help
Yeah thats how I hooked it up. I'm not sure how much of a difference it'll make. I'm thinking of just dealing with the composite cables until I can get an HDTV for myself and use the HDMI cable that I already have.Comment

Re: Ugh... need some help
This. You should see a noticeable difference. Composite is the worst connection while component is quite good (small step below HDMI/VGA/DVI)Comment
