Re: Nintendo 3DS
I haven't had much luck lately with my work schedule and release times.
My next day off is Wednesday.
However you can bet I'll be grabbing AC Sunday evening on way to work so I can get started Monday morning before bedJoshua:

Re: Nintendo 3DS
3DS version of Sonic Lost World looks good.
E3 2013: Exploring Sonic Lost World
As we revealed last time, the approach for this game is to not just push Sonic's latest adventure into 2D form, but to fully embrace 3D levels as appropriate. As in the past, Sonic Team is turning to DIMPS for development of the title. Iizuka stressed to us that the 3DS version is "not a port from the Wii U version" but features "totally new level design to match the screen size and hardware so players can enjoy both versions with a fresh feeling."A couple more details about the 3DS version of the game – SEGA has confirmed that the title will support up to four players locally or online for some sort of 'Versus Mode'. We have also been told that the portable and home console versions of the game will somehow be able to communicate with each other, as players will be able to share items.

Re: Nintendo 3DS
An indy store down the street from me always breaks street date and I picked up Animal Crossing last night. I played the gamecube version but that's it and I've heard this is a good one to come back to the series if you've been gone.
I don't know what it is, you don't really do anything except collect stuff and sell it but it took about 5 minutes before I was pretty addicted and now I'm going back every couple hours to see if anything new has popped up.
I forgot how different having a game run in real time is, you get told things like this will be ready tomorrow or at 4pm today and that's it. I pretty much only play sports and action games so I was kind of surprised this got it hooks in me so quick. I'm at work now and I threw my 3DS in my bag so I can sneak in a couple sessions.Comment

Sadly I don't live down in SoCal anymore so the store I would always go to whenever I wanted a game isn't near me. There was no such thing as street dates to them. I remember picking up WWE 13, Madden, Call of Duty for a buddy, Skyrim and basically all the other games I've gotten in the past year at least a week early.
Glad to hear it's hooked you. Can't wait to download this beat tomorrow night.badComment

It's been nice going back to the 3DS it's a fun machine, I got one soon after the price drop and played some Mario 3d and Mario Tennis but I haven't touched it since the new year I don't think. I wouldn't mind an XL but it's to late now, popped in Mario for a minute when I was done with AC and it is still so awesome. Best Mario game since Galaxy by far.Comment
