Go for Pikmin 3 if you already own and have beaten Wind Waker.

Re: Wii U Discussion
I would recommend Pikmin 3 as well. It was my first introduction into the series and I really enjoyed it. It's a really unique game that blends RTS, puzzling, exploration, survival, and time management.
If you have the option use a Wii-mote + Nunchuk because it's by far the best control scheme. The Gamepad is still useful as a map and to set waypoints.Go Noles!!! >>----->Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Are GameCube games supported at all? I know its not BC with GameCube, but are they available for download?

Re: Wii U Discussion
Plain Wiimote works fine. No Motion Plus is needed for the game, but the Wiimote+Nunchuk combo for the game is invaluable.XBox Gamertag: djbeth77

Re: Wii U Discussion
Not yet, but after Nintendo's recent announcement of a new GameCube controller adapter, it is likely that we'll eventually see some of those games on the virtual console.
The GameCube's analog triggers -- something none of the Wii U's controllers have -- were probably a big reason why no GameCube games have appeared on the eShop thus far.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Fellas, I need to rekindle my love for Nintendo. Thinking about selling the 360 and putting some cash with it to buy a Wii U. Seeing Mario kart, I want to play it. I also want my kiddos to grow up with Nintendo like dear old dad. My fear is that they won't be able to use the controller as it looks bulky. They're 4 and 3 respectively. Thoughts?Twitter - WTF_OS

The controller is light. It's not heavy at all. My 6-year nephew uses it to play games, watch YouTube, and Netflix with no problems. I know everyone wants to drop the GamePad to make the system cheaper but, honestly, it's an awesome controller.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Thanks for the input. I like the idea of the gamepad, I just wonder about the size for their hands. I'll just have to find one to try. I've looked over the wii u, never even thought about buying til this week.
I know how much fun I had with the original Mario kart, I want my kids to have that same feeling. Still have the ps4 for "my" games too.Twitter - WTF_OS

Re: Wii U Discussion
I'm hoping a Super Smash Bros. Wii U bundle is announced at E3. Can't wait!

Re: Wii U Discussion
They probably won't announce that bundle until close to release. I'm sure they don't want people waiting until Nov/Dec to buy a Wii U.Comment
