Have you played SM Galaxy games? They are really fun also.
Only 2 player though I believe.

They're 2 players but the 2nd player doesn't get a character. They point at the screen to collect star-bits or make enemies easier to defeat.

Are they 2 player? I thought it was just 1 player. I'll give them a look.

Check out Kirby Epic Yarn also. It's simplistic sort of, but fun.

I'm looking forward to Yoshi's Woolly World late this year.

Can be a Wii or Wii U game. Just as long as it's multiplayer and fun.
New Super Mario Bros. U (or Wii) and Rayman Legends.

Kirby Return to Dreamland. This is a pretty rare Wii game, but it's coming to Japan this week for download and I would assume elsewhere in the near future.

All three support at least 4 players too.

Kirby: Epic Yarn is a very fun platformer with interesting game mechanics. I've played through the game multiple times and so have my kids.

I loved playing through Epic Yarn with my wife. Not having to worry about lives took the pressure off of here and allowed us to just have fun and do our best.

Finished Super Mario Galaxy 2; what a game.

                    Spoiler

I will probably go back and get some more stars to at least see all of World S though.

                      Re: Wii U Discussion

So after finishing Bayonetta a second time I decided to go back and give Wonderful 101 another shot (I stopped partially through Operation 001 a few months ago).

Man, what an amazing ride it was. The combat in that game is soooo good once you get all the Team Unite Morphs down, some of the bigger enemies that would take me a minute originally would go down in 5 seconds with a nonstop barrage of swords, hammers, hands, and whips. The boss fights I would put up there with anything from Bayonetta 1/2, even the "gimmick" ones (Operation 005) end up being extremely fun to play through.

It definitely is a tougher game to get into than Bayonetta as there's no combo screen like Bayonetta gives you so it's up to you to figure out how to piece together your morphs to keep your combos going. The drawing takes some getting used to at first. Even towards the end I couldn't quite get some down 100%, mainly the Claw and Bomb which both turned into the whip on occasion.

Overall, this game is up there with the Bayonetta's for me in terms of character action games. There's some things that hold it back some, namely the camera at times gets in your way (mainly when there's huge enemies on screen I sometimes lost my team behind the enemy and couldn't really see if I was in the way of an attack) and the gamepad parts. Never really enjoyed it anytime they switched to the gamepad. I like it better than Bayonetta in other ways though. The characters are all great and super charming, the boss fights are all completely unique in that each one has a different twist to fighting it. I find myself liking the visual style slightly more than Bayonetta also.

I do hope for a sequel at some point, but I know with the sales of it, it may be somewhat unrealistic to expect one.

Sounds like you enjoyed it as much as I did. It's a very divisive game. The sense of accomplishment when you start to grasp the mechanics is such a great feeling.

Certainly not without faults, but if you have a little patience, a willingness to learn and experiment, you will find one of most rewarding, diverse, ambitious, and mechanically unique and deep character action games ever.

For those that are getting the Metroid Prime Trilogy:

There's an option in controls to disable Lock On/Free Aim. The Wii versions of Prime 1 and 2 allow for decoupling of the reticule and this is on by default. I found it unwieldy and the first two games were designed completely around lock-on aiming.

$10 for these 3 games is the best deal since The Orange Box.
