Well the good thing from the Super Smash Brothers article is it wont be out until 2013 allowing for maybe a price drop or some kind of package deal for me to get when it releases.

I'm confused in this area as I really don't know how much of an issue this will be. As a PS3 owner where almost every game requires a massive install to the hard drive, my 120 GB is half used up. Demos are large and I have over 20 of them on my system with a few games I bought over the years. But my brother has a 4 GB 360 and has no issues with a small HDD.

With the Wii U having a much faster drive we probably won't be installing any games to the hard drive. 8 GB is certainly large enough for game saves and some demos. Downloadable Indie games aren't something I really care about. In the end though you can use a memory card or an external hard drive with the system if necessary.

Clearly the Wii U is not a home entertainment system where they want you to use it to store videos and music. It's designed as a gaming station first and foremost (even with TVii) while Sony and MS want to turn the consoles into entertainment hubs. I've read the next gen consoles for Sony and MS may include DVR technology.

Yep like I said way back in the thread. If Nintendo wants to always "just" be a gaming machine I'm fine with it. With getting the Deluxe system and 32 gb, I'm sure that will be plenty of space for any downloadable stuff and saves.

It's not really the price. I just don't care about Nintendo anymore. I feel like their games and system don't cater to my gaming needs. Nothing against Nintendo, they will always have a place in my heart. I've just out grown them.

I'll never "out grow" games that are fun.

That's what's great about having options and why I always seem to grab all systems.
I see people enjoying COD "whatever version" and yet it bores me to no end.
So having the ability to play whatever is fun for me at the time is a good option.

The name of the game is fun for me. i always have fun with my family with these systems, so it's worth it. Do I wish it was $50 cheaper? I wish everything was $50 cheaper lol. i've got the cake so i will pay the price.

i would consider the $300 version but they game I want to play most is NintendoLand so the premium system is a deal for me.

ZombiiU looks really cool. i will play and complete that game.

Plus nintendo has confirmed that first party games will cost $59.99.

I think the Wii U looks cool but will hold out to see how things go.

Similar to what Flawless said, I'm excited for the new Mario, and have it preordered, but I'm REALLY pumped for ZombieU and especially Rayman. If you guys haven't played Rayman Origins and you're a side-scrolling platformer fan, then shame on you. The game is fantastic, and absolutely gorgeous, and Legends looks to be even better.

That spin makes no sense whatsoever. What happens if a gamepad breaks? Will someone need to buy a whole new console or import one?

They come with a 1 year warranty, but I have no clue what people would do for a replacement in the interim. I guess you take care of it as if it was a baby.

I will probably buy one as a Christmas gift. Haven't got a new console in a long while. I'll go with the premium.

My son is off the charts addicted to everything Mario. We can hardly have a conversation without him bringing up some aspect of the Mario universe.

I made the mistake of giving him some of the details of the upcoming Gameinformer and now he has gone into overdrive. He asks me constantly if the new Gameinformer is here yet because he wants to read it together. I know once he sees a screen shot that will be all she wrote.

Looks like in sold on the Wii U weather I like it or not.

Most of my gaming time is with my wife and son on the Wii at this point, so I'll definitely be picking one up.
