I wanted to get Yoshi, but after watching a stream, the game is just way too easy, and the music is extremely disappointing.

Re: Wii U Discussion
Same with a lot of the "Puzzle/Action adventure games." with simple puzzles and stuff.
I knew going in it wasn't about being a hard game etc.. based off some of the reviews.
Seems like just a simple platformer but I'm ok with that.
Probably do what I did with SMB3DW and try and find all items etc..(Still working on that :0 )
I get enough difficulty with AAA titles like MGS etc..
Sometimes I simply want a stress free gaming span
With that said I HOPE the game offers the fun factor and desire to complete it 100%. Probably should read more reviews and see exactly if there's a consensus on whether there's enough fun and reason to go 100% completion route and worth it as a whole.
Only seen the EU reviews and nothing yet from the US release (Sure the same though)
We'll see. With GCU it makes taking the chance easierLast edited by Skyboxer; 10-17-2015, 09:24 AM.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
I played some over the weekend. It's a fun game. Nice graphics. Might be easy enough to run through each level, but there is a decent challenge finishing with all hearts, flowers, yarn pieces, and stamps.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
The real challenge in those games is in finding everything. If you just run start to finish, then yah, the games are easy.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Per the Nintendo Direct today....Mother 3 is coming to the Wii U Virtual Console in Japan.
Will it come here? Who knows.
For those unaware, it's the 3rd game after what we now know as "Earthbound Beginnings" and Earthbound (aka Mother 2).Last edited by bcruise; 11-12-2015, 06:36 PM.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Mario Tennis is a 10/10 so far for the unexpectedly metal title screen music. I've just been sitting here listening to that 30 second loop for about 15 minutes now.
I have a feeling though that this game is going to go downhill real fast once I press A to start. I'm anxious to see if Camelot came through on this one or not. They're usually a pretty trustworthy developer.

Re: Wii U Discussion
I got the Wii version of Xenoblade Chronicles off Amazon for $40 a few weeks back and have been playing that. It's an amazing game! If any game deserves an HD redo, it's this one. Even with Wii graphics, the backdrops are spectacular!Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
So if you have the Best Buy GCU discount, that brings it down to $40.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
It looks like the most the most meh Mario Tennis ever. The damn game doesn't even have tournaments in single player!

Re: Wii U Discussion
It's all about the multiplayer for this version of Mario Tennis. By tomorrow I'll have unlocked everything and seen everything there is to do in the single player modes. I don't get why the same developer (Camelot) can make a story mode on the Game Boy Color but not on the Wii U.
I guess Nintendo just made Camelot rush this out there for the holidays since Star Fox and Zelda got delayed.Comment
