I'll never "out grow" games that are fun.

That's what's great about having options and why I always seem to grab all systems.
I see people enjoying COD "whatever version" and yet it bores me to no end.
So having the ability to play whatever is fun for me at the time is a good option.

I'm probably going to go PC and wiiu for now, and if the next MS/Sony consoles wow me, then I might add one of those too. I'm just bored as hell of most of the 360 lineup now, and I couldn't care less about another halo or gears. My 360 is mostly a XBLA machine now, and I'm willing to give Nintendo a shot if new consoles aren't out until 2014. My 360 would be deep in dust by then anyways.

I'm just primarily looking forward to playing some fun nintendo exclusives, which I missed out on by skipping the wii.

Agree about going PC. Now that I have everything on my TV I've been playing mostly PC (XCOM, COH etc..)
My PS3 is my Bluray player for 90% of the time and the Show the rest.. XBOX is Minecraft(Switching to PC shortly) and Madden.

I'd love to just not get the new XBOX or PS4 but we'll see. I'm sort of emotionally attched to XBOX due to LIVE lol. Had it since I was beta testing it...

WII U looks cool, but as I seem to be out growing gaming a bit now, and me really being into sports games the most and what direction they are going in with all this online crap.. I very satisfied with my Vita more then all my systems at this point.. Never really cared for Nintendo since maybe the N64..I'm passing on this this like a hitchhiker on the road.. Plus I really thing the controller is to bulky and ulgy.. Anyway just my opinion.

I preordered mine tonite. I thought abt getting the base system but the game i want to play most is Nintendoland so i got the $350 system, ZombiiU and Super Mario. Cant wait for Nov 18th!

It's a fair assumption that MS and Sony will again sell at a loss for a bit to keep the prices down. No one will sell a $600 console ever again.

It's no secret that Nintendo prefers to make a profit from day one.

I wanted to get this for my son for Xmas. Gamestop is sold out of deluxe pre-orders. So is Best Buy apparently. Nintendo always finds ways to piss me off.

Based on the Wii and how that launch went I made sure I got in as soon as pre-orders were being taken.

Walmart has a bundle online for 399.00 where you can also select 1 game to add to the deluxe.

Not this again Football, as soon as you say your outgrowing gaming, you do something drastic. Your just as curious as many of us on these boards about new consoles, so I know you will have one of these at some point. Hell, I know I will have a Wii U at some point if not at launch. Too bad there wasn't a 3D Mario or Zelda at launch, that would of sealed the deal for me. ZombiU is also looking well done.

Eff it I'm getting this! I haven't had a Nintendo console in YEARS and I think it's time to switch it up. I just hope Nintendo can sustain a strong library throughout the console lifespan and not release a bunch of garbage like they did with the Wii (I know it was marketed towards kids though).
