Yes, the game updates are initially long but you can play the game while it is updating. A definte plus.

Yep. Some are faster than others but I'm so used to looking at status bars at work and home gaming, I think I've been conditioned.. lol

Just got mine, but I won't be able to play until Wednesday.

Anyone have any suggestions thus far outside of Zombi U, Nintendo Land, and NSMB? I'm sure those games will hold me over, but I'm also thinking about Scribblenauts and Trine 2. Anything else?

I like Scribblenauts. It's a fun creating game but not for everyone. Check out some vids on it.
Trine 2 is supposedly very good (and very pretty) and is one I'm wanting to grab.

Once you get it all set up and updated, got to the Miiverse and then go to whatever game you are interested in. There you can see posts on other gamers thoughts on the games (as well as hints etc...)

Everyone so far seems to love the Sonic Racing game also but I've yet to try it.

Also when you say imprecise. What do you mean? I've yet to use stylus and its been flawless.
PS3 is still the same lol.

By imprecise I mean things like dragging stuff into your backpack in ZombiU requires more effort and concentration than it really should. I understand they're leveraging the difficulty into the game, but I don't know how many games can do that before it's not fun anymore.

And for the person who said you can't use headphones on the gamepad to listen to the game, you totally can.

I've had issues when sliding as well, with my finger. Stuff like increasing the height slider of a Mii...my finger simply doesnt grab it well. Reminds me of SportsNation when they drag their name onto one of two pictures, or one of two numbers to their name (646...64 or 46) - sometimes while dragging it just kinda loses the item and I have to select it again.

Don't have issues with the stylus though, but that would be cumbersome doing it in the middle of gameplay.

Edit - like on here, at about the 30 second mark...

If I get to the point of needed extra play time I will look at getting the charger/stand certainly.
As long as the charger works with a cover on the gamepad I'll be ok.

I have an outlet right next to where I play so I'm typically plugged in, I just wish the outlet was on the bottom of the pad instead of the top.
