Thanks, it's in stock in many Targets and Walmarts here. Any recommendations on games? I really want ZombiU, but I'm open to further suggestions.Oklahoma State Cowboys 2011 Big XII Champions, 2012 Fiesta Bowl Champions

The user experience with the WiiU is really frustrating. The OS is super slow, and every piece of software needs a lengthy update. The gamepad should have the headphone and charging jack on the bottom, and the touchscreen is imprecise without a stylus.

Yet, ZombiU is awesome. I have some issues with NSMBU (it's too similar to past Mario games) but the challenges are awesome and it looks great in HD.

Basically, as long as I stay in games, it's great lol.Comment

 Re: Wii U Discussion

If you want to play Wii games get the Wiimote. I grabbed 2 of them and 1 nunchuck. I still haven't grabbed a WiiU pro controller yet but may do so eventually. Other than grabbing some games thats probably it.Hey Guys,

Recently have been interested in picking one up and told myself may as well go look because they wont even be out there if i wanted to get one. Hit up a best buy and gamestop and was just laughed out of the building. walked into the walmart and theres 4 normals and one beautiful deluxe one sitting there.

I obviously walked out of there with the deluxe because i lack self control, what do i need to be able to play things like mario, i cant use the game pad to play correct?

can someone just list some essentials i need to pick up?
Have a blast with my daughters and Nintendoland, love ZombiU, NSMBU is fun especially MP. SP is ok.. It's Mario.
Pretty much playing those and Scribblenauts while waiting now for Lego City, Rayman and Pikmin 3.
Of course as soon as a Zelda or Paper Mario is out I'll be all over them also.
 Have fun!Joshua:

 Re: Wii U Discussion

It looks like the U is close to getting cracked by hackers, which is crazy that it's so soon.

The clock speeds have been revealed by a hacker for those looking at tech specs:

Wii U codenames worth knowing: system Cafe, CPU Espresso, GPU/SoC/etc. Latte, ARM secure processor Starbuck (we made that one up).

1.243125GHz, exactly. 3 PowerPC 750 type cores (similar to Wii's Broadway, but more cache).

 GPU core at 549.999755MHz.

we're calling the WiiU security processor the Starbuck (vs. Starlet on Wii). And it seems to be about equally vulnerable, too

sorry, I'd rather not talk about how I got that yet. It doesn't involve leaks, it involves Wii U hacks

Also when you say imprecise. What do you mean? I've yet to use stylus and its been flawless.Comment

 Re: Wii U Discussion

Yeah I've only used the stylus with Scribblenauts. Haven't had any issues with it on Madden or ZombiU. Haven't tried the pad with Mario MP yet. I did do the calibration before I played anything though.Joshua:
