I believe each Mii you want to have in game has to be a "Login" Mii.
What I mean is when you turn on the system and select a Mii to login as.... You need to make each family members be a Login in Mii.
You don't need to go the whole way and make them a Nintendo account unless you want their Miis to access the online stuff.

You don't have to re-create their Mii's... When you make their login in "accounts" it will ask if you have a Mii already etc...
Doesn't matter who logs in when sysem is booted as all the login account Miis will be usable in game...

Kids are excited for the Wii U but I must say I was ticked off when putting in Super Mario. You can't use the freaking game pad when in multiplayer? How stupid is that!? We have 3 wii motes but I thought our entire family of 4 could play the regular co-op mode but it doesn't recognize the main controller as an option unless you do boost mode. That's just dumb. You don't even play in boost mode with the controller.

Yeah. The pad is for the noob or to help the noob in multiplayer. When my wife played through NSMBU, I used the pad to make platforms. It made the game easier for her.

On a related note anyone figured out yet in Sonic how to get around seeing ODogg(1) as the second player, ODogg(2) as the third player etc.?? Very annoying..

My son played Mario for awhile but I wasn't paying attention much. He only wanted to watch the tablet so I put the PS3 on and did some NBA 2K13 and Madden while he played on the tablet. That was nice although I'm still ticked you can't use that controller in multi-play. The kids love that controller and want to use it every time.

Haven't checked out NintendoLand at all but Sonic was a lot of fun. We did 3 players on easy mode and my son was able to finish first a couple times and my wife even beat my butt. Not good lol. I hope there is an easy way to unlock more tracks.

Tried to access TVii a few times today but it appears to be down all day. That was a bit annoying. My cousin has a brother-in-law that told her TVii was awesome during football on Sunday. I was hoping to see what the guy was talking about during some basketball games but no dice today.

How the heck do you download demos? I don't see any. I searched the e-shop for Rayman and nothing. Is there a demo for Madden? I'd like to check it out.

The only demos out right now are Fifa, Rayman and sonic that I know of.
