Re: Wii U Discussion
Got to thinking about this whole thing yesterday morning laying in bed.
If by some miracle a NFL game was ever made for PC I would more than likely be done with consoles again and go back to PC exclusively.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
No biggie to me as I have zero interest in chat and or MP online with the WiiU.
You can still use the pad and plug the headset in there, correct?
While unfortunate they didn't think ahead, it doesn't mean you have to buy a new pro controller if one comes out with the input unless you want one to make it easier.Last edited by Skyboxer; 10-19-2012, 11:59 AM.Joshua:

If I went any bigger, it would not have properly fit with my equipment, so I had to optimize. I'm okay with it, but I also know what I'm missing with those five inches. :)Comment

I got to try the Wii U today at BBY since the kiosks are starting to show up in their stores this week. The only game that had a demo and is quite ironic is Rayman Legends because this has been pushed back to Q1 2013. I really liked the gamepad and on screen interaction which was well done. On to the game pad, it felt kind of cheap and odd due to the size of the tablet which I can see someone tiring of holding it for several hours. Again, this might not be the case since I only had a few minutes with it. Rayman looked gorgeous on the gamepad, really wish they would of had more demos to test out.
The Wii U itself was longer in size than the current Wii, which I have added a picture of the display.

Re: Wii U Discussion
Yeah, I don't think you can use the controller when charging. It also takes like 2-3 hours to charge.Originally posted by J. ColeFool me one time that's shame on you. Fool me twice can't put the blame on you. Fool me three times, **** the peace sign, load the chopper let it rain on you.

Re: Wii U Discussion
WiiU will be just SP for me. Just don't have the gaming time much anymore.
I just need my Pikmin, SMB, Animal Crossing etc.. fix.Last edited by Skyboxer; 10-21-2012, 03:53 AM.Joshua:

Re: Wii U Discussion
Here is an extensive article on how difficult it was to make the controller due to wireless concerns: http://iwataasks.nintendo.com/interv...iu/gamepad/0/0Last edited by rudyjuly2; 10-21-2012, 05:57 AM.Comment

Re: Wii U Discussion
Like Rudy pointed out with the Kiosks, there must be some catch here. As with any demo unit (and you can see is CZ's pick above), the controller is ALWAYS plugged in when displayed in stores, so this "can't use while being charged" info has to be inaccurate. If that were the case, the kiosk WiiU pad would never work since it's always charging.Last edited by DickDalewood; 10-21-2012, 11:49 AM.Comment

I just looked it up and I was wrong, you can charge and play at the same time.Originally posted by BlzerLet me assure you that I am a huge proponent of size, and it greatly matters. Don't ever let anyone tell you otherwise.
