I'm in love with the custom hot routes....
Another example: screens
Instead of the normal go to the line then flare outside to catch the screen I hot routed back to take a step up then loop to the outside where he could catch more in stride.

Only issue so far is getting used to the buttons. Not the location but abxy is reversed. On the pad its bayx

Not bad on D as the button location still do the same as the xbox. But on passing when I want to throw to X wr I keep hitting y since its reversed lol.

As before the game is smooth.
Play calling is awesome as everything is right there. Even shows you gameplan, conservative and aggresive plays at same time.
On D its as easy as touch one of your players then dragging to an area for zone, dragging to backfield for blitz, dragging to a o player for man or deagging to qb for spy...
You still dont get a ton of time to make adjustments but I was able to easily blitz a cb, put a safety into man to man etc...
This will come in handy especially when o team audibles.
LOVE IT!

Maybe a tad early but I'm close to saying if it wasnt for the 3SD league this would be the only Madden I'd need.
Will see if any glaring issues pop up and how the CCM looks.

I thought CCM wasn't in the WiiU version? Or was that just the Infinity Engine?

How are the replays? Are they like the Vita version or the 360/PS3 version? I'm hoping for the former.

All the stuff with the Gamepad sounds great for Madden. I'm curious how the GP will work for FIFA and NBA 2K.

Black Ops II looks fine and the duel display without having to splitscreen is neat, but as you would expect the performance does suffer a bit.

The Wii U can accept a 2 TB HD.

Yep ME and COD etc weren't ported all to well. I'm pretty stoked so far with what it does and the possibilites for future games.

I ended up getting it, my kid as well was Mario Mario. Shocked how few games even support the pro controller. Bummer as well you need the classic controller for VC games. Got the deluxe, Zombi, Mario and 2 wiimotes.

Guys I cant stress enough how awesome custom routes are.
Just had a play where I figure the Giants would be in a zone so I made a wr do a litte fake slant then sit down in an area. Worked great. The Lb was a little closer than I liked but led wr away from him and completed for a first down.

Not going to get to CoD until my 4 year old goes to bed. We just got done with a bit of Nintendoland, and we got stuck on the Zelda game...couldn't figure put how to get it started.

That game also had a15 minute update, fyi.

LOL at this music playing in Tekken Tag. The Wii U exclusive mode with Mario power-ups looked like dumb fun.

Congrats to everyone who needed one for X-MAS. Hope your kids (and you lol) have fun X-MAS day!

Definately! Went to Best Buy at 8:30 this morning and was first in line! (They opened at 10) Got a 32G when they opened. Went to Target and picked up Sonic, Mario, and Scribblenaughts. Gonna be a fun Dec 25th! BTW Madden sounds great!
