guys I need help with anyone who has experience with this hard drive some people on here recommended it to me

well I finally bought one and went to install the harddrive to the ps4 today but noticed it has the usb plug in thing attached to it question is did I get the right hard drive if so how do I remove the usb plug in attached to the hard drive so I can place it in ps4 because right now it won't fit

do I need to take off the USB circuit board if so how do I remove it? if not how do I place it to where I can put it in my ps4 cuz the usb circuit board seems to be the only issue preventing it from fitting please help

for those who bought this what did you do to get it to work fit thx guys

when reading I came across this
PS4 doesn't support external hard drives right now. The HDD inside of this portable enclosure, however, CAN replace the PS4's stock 500GB drive. You would have to open up the portable enclosure for this drive, disconnect the 2TB, 2.5", 9.5mm Spinpoint M9T hard drive in the enclosure,
then put that into your PS4.

where is the enclouser located at and how do I open it to get the hard drive....

I would love to find a game a could play with my daughter. Any good coop games?

Any of the LittleBigPlanet games are a good choice. Disney Universe and Just Dance are some other good options.

about that harddrive never mind I finally got it I didn't know how to remove the portable enclouser at 1st but man I did it and the harddive is in the ps4! it's now a matter of waiting for the firmware to finish so I can save it to usb and download it and be back up an running!!!!

Good deal, I was about to answer your question. Hey just a tip, don't format your old drive for awhile....especially if you neglected to backup other people's profiles. For me I diligently backed up my saves, then formatted the old drive...went to play Diablo with my fiancé and, at that point, realized that she had lost all of her stuff (she's not a PSN+ member)... I wish I'd just kept the old drive a bit longer!!

Since the PS3 thread is dead I'd thought I'd post my issue here. Has youtube on PS3 been freezing for anyone that uses it? Since it was updated recently it has been freezing more frequently for me. Thx.

This is simply pathetic that PSN is still down! Year after year the same stuff! I'm very much considering trading my PS4 for an XB1! I know both got hacked but at least MS fixes stuff quickly!

If I wanted Sony or MS to read my post I would email the company! I'm sure at this point they are getting plenty of traffic via email and/or phone calls to customer service! The point of the post is to express my personal opinion. You guys are funny you complain about video games not having the right color socks on a player but someone can't express there opinion about a service that is supposed to be available that you the consumer pay for!? SMFH What is the point of these forums then!?

Might be just me, but it seems like this forum fits your description. You posted about your disgust with psn and you were given feedback. Go get an Xbox if that's what you want. What else did you expect?
