It shows DDOS attacks (and others) occurring in real time. It shows who is attacking and who is getting attacked. During an attack Roseville, CA typically gets slammed from all over the world. There is a internet hub located there.

Figures, I just got a ps4 a couple weeks ago and wanted to play call of duty for the first time today. I guess I can still play offline f1 and the show?

Not a lot of information coming from Sony makes it feel like something is up.

I've been able to get on PS3. Not on PS4 or VITA.

A couple guys in our CFM league have been on, but they were online this morning before everything started

I was up early today ( off day from work ) and everything was fine at around 6:30. I started having problems around 9:30 or so.

It's time for Sony to double up on Security or have a better backup plan.

I've been able to get on PS3. Not on PS4 or VITA.

Same, got on with my PS3 only.

I can't seem to fire up Rocket League, though. I don't want to go through the trouble of trying to get behind the PS4 to disconnect the Ethernet cable (only to reconnect again), but part of me feels it's tied in with not being able to connect on my PS4. Like, it freezes on the loading screen. I'm betting it's trying to connect and can't, but isn't saying anything.

Any guess on whether or not that's the case?

All they said was we're looking into it after someone asked on twitter. Never even mentioned anything except some booty maintenance message.

So, what should they do, come out and say it was a DDoS and give these ****s their 15 minutes? I prefer them to say they are working on restoring services and let the FBI give these kids their 15 minutes.

They're embarrassed. They're not going to own up to the DDoS publicly, even if it's not their fault or they can't do anything about it.

Their communication is poor at best but there's only so much they can do about this kind of thing.
