Playstation Network and PS Plus Discussion

I'd care more if I just got it or this was anything new. Just surprised it's been this bad.

Has basically been downloading all weekend and I've completed just Arkham, MK and Saints Row. Probably have BF3 and the demo for Sonic racing by the end of the evening.

Also, seems gamma on Saints is broken?

The Sonic racing game is a blast, for PC at least. If it runs smoothly on consoles it is a great game. It beats most of the Mario Kart games for me.

Yeah, probably buy it on PS3, might not even hold out for a sale. Most fun with a game of that type since SNES Mario Kart.

On almost all day and it still hasnt finished downloading the first game (4.8gb of 6.6gb).

Yikes. Last night I downloaded Saints Row The Third in under an hour.

Sometimes it's fast, sometimes it's slow for me.

It is slow as hell for me as well compared to the 360. Sony has got a lot of work to do in this regard for the PS4.

Same here as a dual-console owner; 360 seems twice as fast compared to PS3 downloads.

Downloaded battlefield 3 from playstation plus. I use to have the disc game but like it better running from the hard drive. What was frustrating is the 2gb update. I got to 6 minutes left for the update and psn went down. I had to start over from the beginning again... I wish these types of updates would be in stages instead of just one big update.

5.4gb Also, make sure you search for it by name. I had been waiting for this all day, and kept checking the ps store but didn't see it. Turns out the store updated 2hrs ago so the new content is there, just not in their designated spots.

i havent had my ps3 for about 2 years now.

im picking up a ps4 though. i was able to login to my account on Sony's site. so that means my account is still good and ill be able to use that, upgrade to plus and be all set in November, correct?

just wanted to make sure..
