I managed to get the patch but bad rumors are stating that PSN is now region locked based on you IP! :'(

I am working in Africa and all my games are obviousally linked with my US account.

If this is true, fans of PES and Pro Yakyu Spirits are going to be vexed!

Doesn't seem that way. Just played SBK 2011 online from the US with no problems.

Worked fine for me on PSP - on what they said would work, anyway. I can bring up my account information and download history (and download anything FROM that history) The PSN Store is still down on both systems, and will probably be one of the last things that comes back online.

I don't know if it's for good, but I was able to download the newest MLB The Show update (May 9). I'm going to assume that's what you are referring to.
