Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
I kept trying to sign in, and all it gave me was a server error. I haven't received the password email yet, so I guess that just means more waiting..-Ohio State-

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
I hope the free stuff we get is good, but honestly other than a month's reimbursement of PS+ and DC Universe Online, I don't really feel Sony owes me anything for their outage. They were the ones attacked, I'm just glad it is back up.

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
Blog update:
Now that PlayStation Network is once again operational, a great many of you are once again enjoying playing games online. Of course, that’s only part of the Network’s offerings - and you’ve got some questions about how the downtime affected planned releases and online events. Here are answers to some of the more pressing queries: [...]
Q: The PlayStation Store hasn’t updated since April 19th. When can I download digital games that were planned to be released since then?
A: To date, three Tuesday publishes were missed, which included items like Under Siege and the MotorStorm Apocalypse demo. Rest assured that you won’t miss any of this great content. To catch up on the large amount of material, we’ll be publishing to the PlayStation Store multiple times per week once commerce functionality is restored. We will update the PlayStation.Blog with information on timing of the Store restoration, as well as the full list of new content as each publish occurs.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
Seems like they took that page off the blog (though the forum link you posted still works)
If it's the same for the US, Infamous is an obvious choice for me having only rented it one time. Probably between that and Wipeout/R&C for the other one.
PSP is tougher - I guess Modnation, but after that the only one I don't own (and never heard of) is Pursuit Force.
That's some amazingly good content for free though.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
For PSP, Modnation and I'll consider trading in my KZ:Liberation UMD for a bit of free money in my pocket (though I will take a look at Pursuit Force first). I already own LBP PSP.
<s>It should be noted that Killzone: Lib received an infrastructure multiplayer patch after release, which means it now functions similar to the PSN in regards to online play (not local ad-hoc only, in other words). It would be great to see multiplayer in that game get revived by this.</s>
Edit: Strike-thru is because I'm not 100% sure on the multiplayer thing....I remember playing against people clearly, but that was a long time ago and the infrastructure system may have been taken down by now (this is a rather old game)Last edited by bcruise; 05-16-2011, 05:38 PM.Comment

Re: Playstation Network and Discussion - The New Beginning
Since I own three of the five, if it's the same for US I'll be getting Dead Nation and inFamous for sure!
I wonder how the extension on our PS+ subscription will work. Is it effective immediate and inserted into our current subscription? Because I'm actually supposed to last through most of October with my current plan (bought it day one, which gives me another three months free on it as well). If this is the case, looks like I am only paying $3/month for this whole ordeal, which is a-okay with me!
EDIT: Nevermind, I just saw 42's link. Well I have WipEout HD but not Fury, so I guess it just depends on which game I consider to be better at this point. I'd like to try out Dead Nation still. Well... and Super Stardust is on that list which was a very solid demo experience, especially with two people involved. I guess I have some decisions to make on this.Last edited by Blzer; 05-16-2011, 05:38 PM.Samsung PN60F8500 PDP / Anthem MRX 720 / Klipsch RC-62 II / Klipsch RF-82 II (x2) / Insignia NS-B2111 (x2) / SVS PC13-Ultra / SVS SB-2000 / Sony MDR-7506 Professional / Audio-Technica ATH-R70x / Sony PS3 & PS4 / DirecTV HR44-500 / DarbeeVision DVP-5000 / Panamax M5400-PM / Elgato HD60Comment
