If you buy a Digital Copy of a game are you just SOL if there's issues with it? I purchased NHL 13 and I've had it freeze up on me just about every time I've played.

You could try writing Sony Entertainment Network via email to see if they can offer a refund.

Long shot but it might work.

Maybe because it's accessing so much off the HDD, it's having issues getting to certain components. I know I suggest this for almost anything, but perhaps you should try and rebuild the database.

I knew this was going to be an expensive month on the PSN. I had no idea it would be this big.

Zen Pinball: Star Wars ($10)
Pinball Arcade: Star Trek TNG Pro Version, Attack From Mars ($15 combined)
Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational Course/Character DLC ($9 I think, was a Plus discount)
Plants vs. Zombies Vita (Free, PS Plus IGC)
MLB The Show '13 PS3/Vita ($100 combined)
Atelier Ayesha: Alchemist of Dusk ($50)
Atelier Totori Plus - Vita ($40)
Disgaea 3: Absence of Detention (Free, PS Plus IGC)

All of this goes toward Sony's running promotion for getting $10 store credit back for every 50 you spend on the PSN store this month. I may try to find something for around $30 to push it up to $250 before this promotion ends. It wouldn't be too difficult. But as it is, I could pay for a full-price Vita game just on that store credit that I'll be getting.

And this isn't even all I spent on games this month - a couple of rather large PC releases I'd been waiting for for months add to that.

It seems to me that rebuilding the database is a catch all for almost any PS3 issue.

It's strange because I have several other digital copies of games on my HDD and there's never been an issue.

How do you rebuild the database? I know there was a link to a tutorial somewhere, but can't locate it.

I'm only thinking off the top of my head here, but from standby mode, hold onto the PS3 reset button until it does like a bunch of blinks (its first blink, then another set of blinks, then I think a third set of blinks). It might shut off again, and I think you press the reset button one more time (maybe you hold onto it from there, actually?). Then it will give you a menu with like five or six options, one of them being to rebuild the database.

You lose PSN messages and your media albums you've created, though (including playlists).

Having and issue with my fat ps3 in bedroom, when I turn it on I get no diplay. The hdd light blinks then stops and I did the hold the power button down for 5 seconds got into to safe mode and trying to restore defaults and nothing seeks to be happening..any ideas

Thank goodness I bought the superslim back in January, maybe the fat got jealous and craped out today.
