Bro, get the 65ks8000. Got the tv at bestbuy earlier in the day and the picture quality is amazing. I'm blown away how good it looks. I got Best Buy to price match micro center and got the tv for $1999 plus tax. I was a bit skeptical since the tv is edge lit but it's an awesome tv. Input lag is 20ms and I noticed how good it was while playing Mlb the show. Now I just need the Xbox slim.

Wife's issue is we have a perfectly good 60" Samsung (UN60F8000) already

No Microcenter nearby, Frys is my equivalent but their sales are promo code based so immune to price matching.

We'll see how sales go next month, if I can get the OK for a TV the extra little bit for a 65 will probably be doable.

Guys if you looking to get a 4K tv. Do not buy any Samsung model from this year 2016 unless you got the coin to get the high end KS9800

That model is a FALD which is FULL ARRAY LOCAL Dimming and this trumps the edge lit that all other models below it have. Samsung is pricey and those lower models will be high for asthetics.

Go for the Vizion as it has FALD from what I read and is much cheaper than samsung high end.

If you guys can find the model I have from last year UN65JS9500 that was the high end for last year and it has HDR10 which is what XB S will support. They do not support HDR Dolby.

I paid $3500 flat but am sure you can find it a bit cheaper if you look hard.

That tv has 21ms input lag in game mode which is fantastic. It is bright and offers fantastic looks and performance. I love gaming on it.

I was going to get the Vizio, but then after doing some research I'm glad i didn't. The vizio is a FALD tv, but only one HDMI port is low input lag and that's port #5. It's 17ms on that port only, but that port doesn't allow HDR as it's only 1.4. The other 4 ports are 34.7ms with game mode enabled. The samsung KS8000 is 20ms on all ports. I didn't want to get the samsung because it was edge lit, but after reading on AVS forums i spoke to many people who owned both the vizio P series and the ks8000 and the majority said the picture was better on the samsung. If you go on rtings.com they rate the ks8000 as the 2nd best tv this year and in first place the obvious LG OLED which is $6,000 at 65 inches no thanks. The vizio came in 3rd. They recommend this samsung over the Vizio P series which was interesting. So far I'm impressed..

AVS is great but they have a huge bias towards Samsung and with good reason as they make great sets

Since you are a gamer you made correct choice. In terms of movie watching picture quality the Vizio is better due to the deeper blacks and FALD. But lower resolution shows or movies are better on the Sammy as well as gaming is a dream

2K for that set is a good deal as well... Congrats and welcome to the club

I game on my 1080p Asus 27 inch monitor and for some strange reason I enjoy the monitor better and tend to play better on it. I may get a 4K monitor for my office.

You mean the JS model. THe JU is in Europe...But that tv set is mid tier from Samsung and is the best one to game on....17ms input lag....

My bad you are correct as JU is from the U.S but is not the S model Samsung which the JS stands for.

The input lag on your set is just like mine at 21 which is amazing.

The one with 17 is the same model you have but the JS

Has anyone in the Preview program gotten the background music feature to work? I believe I have the latest build and see the other features such as the new way to sort my games and apps working but I cannot get background music to work.

I've tried Groove Music and Pandora both with a couple of different games and the music quits playing when I unsnap the app.

I tried gaming on a monitor for a while, but it wasn't my cup of tea. The tv you have is low input which is awesome for gaming. To me there's nothing like sitting back on your couch, cranking up the surround sound with a beer in hand and gaming lol.

Well, I ended up pulling the trigger on the $349 Xbox One S/Madden 17 bundle on Amazon.

I ended up wanting the S since I do have a 4k TV and don't want to regret not getting it later. The S I got only has a 1 TB hard drive, but I am not a big console gamer aside from sports games, so I don't think this will be a big problem.

The only downside is that I don't get it until August 23rd (when Madden comes out), but that's okay. There's nothing out at the moment that has me really itching to play (I will obviously get Madden, and probably NBA 2K17 and Fifa 17 when they release in the fall), anyways.
