I don't think so. If I remember correctly from last year we got it 5 days early and could use it for 10 hours. But we couldn't install until they made it available for the trial. Your hours don't start till you play though. Things may have changed. I'm not sure.

One thing I like about the trial with EA Access versus the old Season Pass is that you can play those 10 hours whenever, not just the weekend before launch. You can play it past launch, your can download it after launch and play it, whatever is best for you. It's a much better value that way.

It's hard to figure. He's a freaking GAF disciple that spends an absurd amount of time waging console wars. Yet, he has not a flipping clue how the dashboard on the XB1 works. I don't know how someone gets to that point unless they are just blatantly trolling.

I truly don't believe he's trolling, he's just a strange dude lol. I mean, I'd like to see where else he posts. I wonder if he gets into it on other sites that are more gaming specific.

This place originated from sports gaming and sports in general. I know he doesn't come here for that. He's just into gaming period. I'd think he's gotta be posting on gaming forums like crazy. Where he can prolly indulge in these console convo/arguments at a site where that's welcomed. He can go at it with like minded individuals.

I only post here and on Neogaf. I do have an account on GameFaqs but I rarely if ever post there anymore. I also have an account on Reddit but I don't like the layout of their forums so I have never actually posted there and the majority of info that gets posted there eventually finds it's way to Neogaf.

As for the dashboard, that's what I had to do to play Forza Horizon 3 or any of the few exclusives that I have played on Xbox One for that matter. If anyone wants to post how I can play my digital games quicker, feel free to post it and next time I play Xbox One, I'll check it out.

As for console wars, everyone knows that I favor Sony and PS4 this generation but the reason why is simple - they give me what I want the most - GAMES that appeal to me and are in my respective genres. Microsoft not so much but despite that, I have still purchased an Xbox One four times in two and a half years. There's exclusives that I have played, want to play and will play but not as many as I would like there to be for me personally as a good amount of their exclusives simply don't interest or appeal to me.

Considering that I completed 25 out of 35 games last generation on Xbox 360 while 8 of the remaining 10 were for PlayStation 3, it should be obvious that I simply go with the console that gives me what I want, what I prefer and what suits me the most. Microsoft had me last generation as Xbox 360 was by far my primary console but they lost me this generation simply because they tend to focus and concentrate more on the services and features of Xbox One which while excellent don't do a damn thing for me personally.

Two exclusives a year isn't exactly as much as I would prefer in regards to appealing to me and me wanting to play them but I can accept that and considering the fact that after 2018, the exclusives on Xbox One will double the exclusives that I played on PlayStation 3, I can easily say that for my secondary console, they've done better then the competition did for me last generation.

It's all good though.

Just signed up for the free trial of Xbox Game Pass, really like what Microsoft is doing with this.

Some pretty decent games available with it too, looking forward to trying out some of the indie stuff as well.

I was planning on getting an XBox One X at launch, but I became impatient and bought another XBox One S over the weekend. Now, our boys can play one in their room and we'll have one to play whenever we want in the living room. I may end up trading one in for the XBox One X, but I'm not sure yet. I'll probably roll with the One S for a year or so I'm guessing.

I got the Gears of War 4 1TB Bundle for $279, and I must say the white console and controller look pretty sweet!

I contemplated getting a PS4, so I could get both exclusives. But in the end, I didn't want to mess with buying the same game for 2 different consoles from time to time (FIFA 18 would've been bought twice, haha). I guess I'm an XBox guy now for sure!

I have a PS4 Slim, but I play it so little that I will trade it and my One S for an X.

Got it for The Show, but it's just not all that great. In an attempt to be ultra realistic it fails and both being realistic and fun. Baseball is by far my favorite sport, but Madden and NHL are much more fun to play.

My wife played some Persona 5, but all she ever plays is BotW, anymore. The Switch and XB1 have plenty of games.
