I'm definitely expecting something far superior to my OneS. Can't wait for this thing.

Re: Xbox One
Anthem would probably be the game that does it. Only way I buy a Scorpio sooner rather than later is if I get a awesome deal like I did with the Pro.Comment

Re: Xbox One
If you mean trading in your current Xbox One console towards Scorpio to Best Buy, as much as I prefer them, have GCU and buy 90% of my gaming stuff from them, their trade in values for consoles suck, plain and simple. GameStop actually gives you more CASH than Best Buy gives you credit. You would actually be losing money/credit by trading in consoles to Best Buy unless they have some good promotion which they rarely do for consoles.

Re: Xbox One
There are games I already have in my possession that make me excited about this console. Gears 4, and Forza Horizon to name a couple. I'm definitely not buying this day one because of a single game either. That seems silly and kind of defeats the purpose of the thing. I'm buying it because of what it's going to do for a number of games.Comment

Re: Xbox One
You keep saying this but I honestly will never understand it. Every single game you already have and every single game going forward will all be playable on the OneX. The lack of games argument has never been less relevant imo.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Why buy the Pro even then too? This just gives someone who was considering the S a better system if they choose. We'll see how it does, it will be interesting.Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment

Multi-platform wise, im sticking with the Pro as it's where all my multi-platform games have been played on thus far and like I do with every gen, I stick with the primary console for multi-platform games. Did the same thing last gen with Xbox 360.
Also, I just don't think that the differences between the Pro and Scorpio will warrant a $500 price tag. However, I may have a co-worker willing to buy my Slim for $200 so if that happens, then I'll most likely buy Scorpio since the difference would only be $300 and I know that when the time comes to sell it, I'll at the very least even out which im fine with.

As for the best console experience, that all remains to be seen and will come down to the third party publishers giving their developers the money, time and resources to take full advantage of the specifications of the console. I think that a few will but the majority won't because it wouldn't be worth it.
I bought a Pro because it only cost me $45 out of pocket. Can't complain about that whatsoever. Also, because PS4 is my primary console and because there's a ton of exclusives that I know will take full advantage of the Pro. Basically, the exclusive games and the $45 it cost me were the deciding factors.Comment

Ignore works well to avoid all that negative talk, until people quote his rants and bs. Not sure why he feels like we need to be in console war mode everyday.

I'm getting tired of waiting around to pre-ordering. I wish they would hurry up and let us pluck our money down for this thing.Comment

Re: Xbox One
As others have said, the FCC hasn't approved the Xbox One X yet and until they do, they can't be sold and thus, can't be pre-ordered but reading articles about the situation, the approval should happen by late July with pre-orders going live before GamesCom in August.Comment
