I just got my xbox one x. So the fastest way to get my games is to copy them from the one S onto an external HD and transfer them over to One X?

There is a network transfer tool on the Xbox. As long as both consoles are on same network, you can transfer everything.

I would assume if you connected via a Ethernet cable, then it would be the best way.

I put everything on my external hd so when I received my X I just plugged it in and I was good to go. Enjoy!!
