Then again, its IGN, so it might.
So what exactly will be coming in the package? The charge kit will come with the controller in the console right? Would buying an extra play and charge kit come with an extra battery and charger? I'm curious because I'm sure Microsoft will be trying to capitalize on their accessories. I'm kind of hoping that they come out with a wired controller for the pc.

I like how he tries to put it on MS for the reason he's confused... 'neither confirmed or denied from MS' should be a pretty clear indicator as to what you should or shouldn't make a video claiming for your article.

As he's corrected his story to, we don't know what is coming w/ the console, many think MS is working on a solution to either accomodate existing headsets, include something (Sony set the bar pretty low by including a single earbud - but at least they're supporting existing headsets) or perhaps both.

Steve posted a link to a YouTube video from IGN that said the headset is included with the system...now the video is private? Interesting.

I think that's the same link as above, the author either assumed or misspoke and retracted the video.

I am trying to put money aside for the One, but it is looking pretty high on the bank account when you factor in a few games and possibly a needed accessory.

You almost have to budget no less than a grand to come out ready to game.

Yep. That's why I started so early. Once you get down to it, it is close to a grand especially when I'm still buying 360 titles like GTA V, Batman Arkham Origins, WWE 2k14.

The only thing keeping me from getting Xbox one is the price tag. Considering the two consoles seem almost identical, why not go for the one that is 100$ cheaper?

Don't forget warranties....I'm guessing $50 for additional 2 years? $100 for 4 year protection? Or has warranty prices gone up too?

I doubt the charge kit will come in the box, with the 360 if you wanted a play and charge kit you had to buy it seperate.

I could be wrong, I honestly don't even know what the battery situation is on the Xbone, is it going to be like the 360 where you can use batteries or will it be all battery packs? If its battery packs I'd say they have to include the charge kit, if its batteries like the 360 then I definitely don't think so.

I know they are eager for more money but why can't they make a superiorly long lasting controller like the Dualshock 3? It charges just fine and holds a charge extremely long. Love the life of that thing. Those plug and play joints are trash. Have to buy a better pack like every year because they lose life so freaking quick. I do them like you're suppose to do a regular battery. Don't charge it unless it's getting low. Don't play on the controller while it's charging. It's just a cheap piece. I hope wired is an option. Would negate having to buy another sensor for the computer.......

Feature wise I wouldn't say they are identical. Voice and motion control for the kinect. The fantasy football integration. Snap mode, smart match. Those can sell someone on the Xbox one. PS4 doesn't offer those features. Some people actually like these things including me. I have both pre-ordered though and still deciding which to get at launch and which to get during tax season.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

Maybe because im older, married, kids, and microsoft backed out of policies that originally had me leaning towards PS4; I made my day one xbone preorder through microsoft store, only place I could find one. I love the snap feature for switching between TV, games, etc. Xbone fits the family environment better IMO. While also being a solid gaming machine for me (sports games and BF4), all I have time for, games for kids with kinect, blu ray for movies, skype for family and friends( not sure if this is just on xbone or anyone on skype?), NFL and fantasy integration. If I was still single and in early 20's it would be PS4 all the way.

I am staying with Xbox because I believe they have a better handle on the complete entertainment package. We do all our TV viewing through the Xbox and its apps. I am pleased with what they are doing with digital downloads and arcade gaming. The added things for me are Skype, snap feature and knowing there will be stable future support. One of the highlights for the PS4 is party chat. That's not taking a swipe but is an example of how I feel they are a bit behind. Everything they are offering is going to be done via the One or already is being done via the 360.

This has got to be my main reason for the Xbone:
