I apologize if this has been talked about but don't have much time to look back in the thread so would appreciate any help. Is Gamestop selling Xbox One games yet? Wouldn't mind getting all my trade-in's done and games bought now before the X1 arrives Friday.

I would guess you can grab some Tuesday, but the exclusives (FM5, DR3, Ryse) probably won't be available till Friday. Can always call them up and try though.

Reportedly only 10% of XB1's were assembled by Foxconn so that's good news I guess(if those reports about the bricked PS4's are true anyway).

What else along with the console did you trade in? A HD with it? Controllers? Any peripherals? Or did they just take the console itself?

They scanned the console, the HD which to my surprise was scanned seperately from the console. One controller, play and charge kit, a charger stand, I had an additional component cord that had a connection for a PC monitor. A separate battery pack and I think that was it other than the 2 games.

Really hoping that the XB1 Launch goes smooth for you guys on Friday. Still on the fence about keeping my pre-order. Thinking I might sell it. But it will be hard on Friday when I have it here in the house.

They scanned the console, the HD which to my surprise was scanned seperately from the console. One controller, play and charge kit, a charger stand, I had an additional component cord that had a connection for a PC monitor. A separate battery pack and I think that was it other than the 2 games.

A few weeks ago they gave me $90 for the first HDMI edition 360 with a kinect. All they wanted was the 360, kinect, power brick, one controller, and the component cords.

They didn't even test it which surprised me because the HDMI port didn't work and the controller I gave them had a bad joystick.

I know...bad karma is a mutha

I fully expect my XB1 to not work when I get it .

They didn't test mine either and the disc drive was getting suspect...many times you would have to open and close the disc tray to get it to read whatever was in it. Thought it would be better to get something than nothing.

Where's the best place to trade in your controllers and old games? I'm not trading in my 360 yet but I want to get rid of my 3 extra controllers and all my games outside of GTA.

Ahhh

The Best Buy I took it to is next to a Gamestop and when I took it over there the person (couldn't tell if it was a guy or girl) gave me a little attitude and seemed annoyed that I wanted to get a quote. I had the guy at Best Buy give me their offer in writing so I just walked right back in and got my gift card.

I guess I should've worded it better. I know Best Buy has that 100% trade in value special going on. Am I better off using that? Or are their trade in values not as good as GameStops?
