Re: Xbox One
If your stereo receiver has HDMI out to your TV, there shouldn't be a problem...but the passthrough audio doesn't sound like it's ready for primetime.
For it to work as advertised, you take the HDMI cable from your cable box and hook it into the Xbox One's HDMI input, then run the HDMI out on the Xbox One and plug it into an HDMI input on your receiver, likely where your cable box is plugged into presently. It is likely hooked up already, but an HDMI cable from the output of the receiver is then run to an input on your TV.
Cable Box --> Xbox One --> Stereo Receiver --> TV
Unfortunately, it sounds like the HDMI passthrough isn't transmitting anything but standard Stereo sound (no Dolby)...you could take a optical cable and run it from your cable box to your receiver and assign it to the HDMI input your cable box/Xbox One is occupying. Then when you are watching only the cable box, you can switch the audio to the optical port and enjoy better sound.XBL & PSN: zasbury25Comment

Re: Xbox One
In-game car tokens and their prices in Forza 5. Do the math - pay attention to the "Recommended" and "Great value" choices. Absolutely disgusting. People are, in general, averse to math and used to things being cheaper in bulk. The "great value" nets you a little over half the amount of tokens per Euro. As far as how much cars cost in tokens, the Lotus F1 car costs 10,000 tokens, which would equate to nearly 100 Euros.
Code:100 Pack = 100 Tokens per Euro 8000 Pack = 80 325 Pack = 65 1250 Pack = 62.5 575 Pack = 57.5 RECOMMENDED 2700 Pack = 54 GREAT VALUE

Wow, that's pretty damn bad. That takes the sting out of missing Forza this year.

^^^Another PlayStation 4 guy, imagine that, seeing a trend. I was not telling him, I was giving my opinion/thought/suggestion, whatever you want to call it, on keeping post on track. He can do whatever he wants, just as I can as well.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Its time for you to stop it and post on the subject of the Xbox one and off of the posters in the thread.
If anyone has violated the TOS then the mods will deal with it, but as is, if you continue to derail the thread calling people fanboys over and again you'll be banned for trolling.
Lets get back to the topic at hand.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Pointing out people as being PS4 guys isn't getting anything constructive accomplished in this thread. Vast majority of people here are just gamers in general (some very heavy on the PC side). If they see problems with the PS4 or Xbox One they're going to point them out no matter what.Comment
