Very satisfied with Microsoft customer support, the way they are dealing with broken consoles is they send you a new one ASAP then you ship yours back. Still bummed that my first 4 day weekend with my Xbox it breaks. Serious bummee.

Plus they are giving you a free first party game which is something Sony also needs to do IMO.

I read on another site that any one with a defective console gets one, theres nothing I really want though. I would probably just sell it.

10 minute call to Xbox Support was able to net me a free download of Forza.

Told support about my controller disconnecting every once in a while. They're sending me a new console & Kinect and told me to download a new MS game for free.

I had my first exposure to the xbox one yesterday, my nephew(12 yrs old) got one on release day. First thing I noticed was that he had it set up half assed and really was not taking advantage of all the features. So I spent some time getting him up to speed walking him through everything. After spending a good hour and half he turns to me ands says I really just want to play games and this stuff is kind of boring, lol. After that I knew that was my cue to stop teaching and let him continue playing his games. One thing he absolutely had no patience for was waiting for games to load. He popped in 2k14 and I was actually surprised at how long it took to install, it sat at 1% for a good 15 minutes. I would assume it would be the same as the ps4. I thought he would be really excited about his system but initially he said he enjoyed his 360 more because he felt it was easier to use. I was actually surprised.

After spending some time with it, there are some really nice features but to me this system is really targeted for adults. I would be curious to see how many of these consoles where the main user is a younger person, will never realize the full potential of what the system can offer.

Would have to agree, I dont think a younger kid would be interested in, or even understand what the Xbox One feature set is capable of. They are more interested in plug and play. PS4 would have suited him better. PS4 UI while good and much better than the PS3 is straight to the point, where as the Xbox One just has loads of options to mess around with.

All of a sudden the Xbox just stopped controlling the TV and my cable...anybody else have or had this problem? I select TV and it says for some reason TV took to long to start (0x8027025a)

So Lego Marvel Super Heroes is on sale for $39 on Amazon. Wish there was digital deals though. They pushed this whole digital downloads thing but deals are always for disc based versions of games.
