I'm disappointed that Destiny is only 30fps, but I guess its not really a competitive multiplayer shooter anyway.

It most definitely is a competitive multiplayer shooter, unless you're just totally discounting their game mode that probably has the most draw to the online community.

              Re: Xbox One

Its really hard to take games that are 30fps seriously when all the major competitive games run at 60. I look at Destiny like a borderlands type of game, and theres nothing wrong with that.

Cool. But I need to get more interested in the game again. I lost any momentum I had for it and with Evolve coming out within the same window, I'm more looking forward to that.

From what he told me he just plugs the micro usb from his controller to his Xbox One and it acts like a wired controlled without batteries even in it.

Here's a better description of what I am saying:

Correct, this is exactly what I do.

There's no need for any batteries with the micro usb cable, it essentially becomes a wired controller.

Anybody going with external storage? If so, what size HD? I'm thinking about it and getting most games digital from here on out.

                              SIAP:

It looks like Microsoft's decision to let game developers access system resources previously reserved for Kinect features is already paying dividends. Bungie says that the resulting performance boost will let Destiny run on the Xbox One at a higher 1080p resolution while maintaining 30 frames per second; in short, it's now as sharp-looking as the PS4 edition. Xbox head Phil Spencer also tells Major Nelson that the anything-goes shooter Sunset Overdrive will take advantage of the loosened requirements.

Is it possible to pre-order games from the Xbox Marketplace? The marketplace is so weird compared to the PlayStation Store.
