Thanks for the suggestions. But a few days ago, I've tried all of that. I promise you I've said it around 50xs moving all around the room and everything. It only worked once like when the first day I had it. Ever since then it hasn't worked, so I don't even bother.

But, I will try it all over again now. Thanks again.

UPDATE: Still doesn't work no matter how I say it. Would be cool for it to start up that way, but it just doesn't for some reason. Everything else works flawlessly.

It's all right though, I can't complain. Not a big deal just using my controller to turn it on.

I'd be extremely, extremely surprised if MS didn't do an all out blitz to capitalize on the Halo collection. Special edition consoles, controllers, etc out the yang for it.

No idea if they will or not, but it just seems stupid to pass that opportunity up.

Microsoft just pushed out the latest dashboard beta, and this is one of the best ones yet in my opinion. The snap menu FINALLY has all the functionality it should, including your friends list. The subtle changes to how you interact with snap have made it considerably better.

If they can just improve the speed at which the snap menu opens, and the overall speed of the dashboard, they'll have potentially surpassed the 360 dashboard.

There's no scroll bar (people already posting about it on xbox forum), but other then that I agree with this. I like the menu available when you double click the xbox button that allows you to snap things easier on the fly as well.

Yeah, I'm banking on Microsoft releasing one. You would think a Halo bundle for the holidays would be a lock. If not I'll grab a different one, but expect one offering Halo to be available.

                  PSN themed controller?

Does look nice though, I don't have a 2nd/cradle yet.

Just out of curiosity, look at your power brick. Is the light orange or white? Today I ran into it not responding to my Xbox on command. I looked at the power brick and the light was orange. When it's white I have no problems.

Yes - white light = Connected Standby or On. Orange light = Off.

The light is white right now, but still doesn't work. I've never checked before. Only had the system for about a week now.

I'm just curious how I got it to actually turn on once. That took about 6 times, but it came on when I got close to the kinect. Now, nothing works at all.

Here is my issue: My controller never powers on the system. Power brick is white, controller is fully charged and updated. I have also done a hard reset and it still does not work.
