I don't care for Halo. Like I said in the off-topic thread, Uncharted never appealed to me.

MAG and Gears were the only exclusives I played extensively last gen and Zipper was shut down so there's no chance of that coming back.

The Forza franchise is the main reason I went X1

idk when GT is coming out on PS4

I was the opposite and knew going in that I was picking Sony exclusives over Microsoft's which for me was an extremely easy decision. In general, both consoles only have ONE exclusive thus far that I cared about. Knack (7/10) for PS4 and Ryse for Xbox One.

2015 is the year where the exclusives start coming. The Order: 1886 in February, Bloodborne in March, No Man's Sky (timed exclusive) in the summer and Uncharted 4 in November. For Xbox One, there's nothing for me whatsoever until the fall. Quantum Break and Rise of the Tomb Raider (timed exclusive).

I have no interest in Forza, Fable, Halo and lost interest in Ori and the Blind Forest after seeing a recent gameplay video.

Like I have said several times, choosing between PS4 and Xbox One comes down to which exclusives you prefer. For me, it's easily PS4.

Same for me in regards to The Order and Bloodborne. Not sure if you mean that you're getting Uncharted 4 in December but there's no way in hell that it releases after the first or second week in November as Sony will not want their top franchise IP being released after Black Thursday/Friday.

Hmmmm, as for all those Xbox One exclusives, Quantum Break is a Fall 2015 or later release. Gears of War is 2016 or 2017. Crackdown is 2016. Ori should be this spring sometime. Phantom Dust is 2016. Rise of the Tomb Raider is early November along with Halo 5. Forza 6 is Fall 2015. Scalebound is 2016. Have no clue about Inside. The only one that you'll be playing is Ori and most likely Fable Legends which im guessing will be June.

As for the release dates for the majority of those games, they come from Ken Lobb via an interview several days ago as it was posted on NeoGaf. It turned into an Xbox One vs PS4 exclusives debate. Majority agreed that for 2015, it's Fable, Forza, Quantum Break, Halo 5 and Rise of the Tomb Raider. The rest are 2016 or beyond. I think that the new Gears game will be 2017 which a Gears collection 2016 ala Halo: MCC.

Sorry but what do you mean by "make yourself beat a game"? I don't get this. I play games to have fun and enjoy them but at the same time, if both of those scenarios apply, im obviously going to beat the game.

Do you just mess around with games and that's it? Seriously, could clarify that because honestly, I just don't get it. Thanks.

While it's all based on personal preference, I agree in regards to neither console having that "must buy console for exclusive" yet. That won't happen until Uncharted 4 and Halo 5 in my opinion.

Gears of War was great but you've got at least a two year wait, possibly three. I was interested in Dead Rising 3 but after watching a walkthrough for an hour, I lost interest in the game. It seems like a zombie hack and slash and the majority of the zombies are just standing around doing nothing. You would think that all of them would attack you instead of watching the closest group attack you. That and too much lame comedy to me which I don't like at all especially in a game in which you're supposed to be scared and running for your life and trying to survive.

MS just announced that forza 6 will be shown in E3. I love Forza as well. Hands down the best console racer. That's one thing that I like. MS releases forza every 2 years on average.

Anyone hear anything about when the XB1 should get the screenshot/screenshot sharing feature they mentioned back in October that was coming?

I havent checked the preview program app in a while, and was doing some googling about it today and haven't seen any recent news about it. Just curious if anyone has some info on it?

The zombies attack at night. During the day they move much slower.

Agreed, from what I have seen on Gamespot and IGN I am passing. They basically said it looks great but there are so many quick time events and not enough action.

I'm not really interested in the exclusives for either console so far in 2015, my most anticipated games are Rainbow 6 Siege and The Division.

I play to have fun, but I used to buy every game out there at release, I'd have too many games, play a game for a week and then move on to something new.

Now I can't spend as much on gaming, so I find sales and get games I will make sure I spend more time on. I try and avoid the gamer ADD. Right now I only own 2 games, FC4 and DA:I, and want to beat both of those and enjoy them before selling them back.

I've also realized that I'm not going to be a "completist" type, so I skip some of the "grinding" type stuff that may not be as fun to me (but in the past I may have made myself do it).

My gaming time is limited, so I try and keep myself focused so I have a fun experience. Does that help explain my mindset?

The first Forza threw my out of that franchise almost immediately and I haven't played a Gran Turismo since I think the third one.

I'm not big on non-NASCAR racing games and even then, I'm picky. Until they come out with one similar to Total Team Control (05 or 06), I won't be buying one of them.

Nothing official, but hopefully soon. It seems to be near the top of the list. The preview program was kind of on hiatus with the holidays. Should be more news soon.

Yes, it does. Basically, you would end up having too many games, go from one to the other and never finish any of them. I used to do this years ago but stopped because I realized that I wasn't finishing any games and was just acquiring a backlog.

I stopped doing this in 2012 and try to go one game at a time. The only games that I will put on "hold" are downloadable titles because I know they're not going anywhere. Disc based wise, I try to finish the game and trade them in. I still try out games though. I tried DA: I, AC: Unity, Lords of the Fallen and Bound by Flame but none of them kept me interested enough to play through so I traded them all in. Plus, with three of the four games being in the same genre and The Witcher 3 coming out in May, I figured that it's better to wait. Also, I hate games where I have to create my character. I prefer pre-set.

As for 100% completion, depends on the game. Currently playing Far Cry 4 and im enjoying it a lot. Definitely going for 100% completion.
