Re: Xbox One
I'd say even at this stage, Infamous: Second Son looks better than Titanfall, which looks to be yet another gray-brown military shooter. The particle effects in Infamous are ridiculous.
Edit: Also, I thought Ryse looks better than Titanfall. Which is why I thought you were just kidding.Last edited by Trapper700; 08-21-2013, 02:00 PM.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Really undecided. I want an Xbox One for Forza, which is one of my favorite games. But I have a Vita and depending how remote play is done, I could see myself opting for a PS4.....I wish I knew what the latency will be....if Remote Play fails I'll go to Xbox and not look back....Comment

Re: Xbox One
These games will only continue to look better with time. I like RYSE, but one thing I noticed is that some of these games aren't 1080p native and 60fps, but some are. At this point ALL games should be 1080 native and 60fps. I'm glad forza is 1080p 60fps.I'd say even at this stage, Infamous: Second Son looks better than Titanfall, which looks to be yet another gray-brown military shooter. Re: Xbox One
The biggest difference will be in 3D technology. Any developer that wanted to offer the game in 3D would most likely code for the PS4 and port over to the XBone. Other than that, Trapper is on key.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Maybe game play wise but in all honesty visually it looks worse than BF4. I don't think any exclusive will be able to run away graphically for awhile as long as FB 3.0 is the big engine.
I agree that 30 FPS is unacceptable at this point but who really needs 1080P? IIRC you need to sit within something like 5 feet of a 42 inch TV to even notice a difference between 1600 x 900 and 1920 x 1080. I'd much rather have 60 FPS over higher pixel counts.Last edited by KMRblue1027; 08-21-2013, 02:31 PM.PSN: KMRBlue1027

Re: Xbox One
While I agree with you, I can understand why devs try to get prettier graphics instead of 60fps. Pretty graphics can be shown on screenshots and on youtube (30fps max), while 60fps cannot be truly appreciated unless you play the game.
Also, it's unfortunate, but Forza had to make some hefty sacrifices to reach that goal as well. It's going to have prebaked lighting/no dynamic lighting, no day/night cycles or weather cycles.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yes, and it's also much easier to have those kinds of graphics in a fighting game with a total of two rendered characters. An open world game like Infamous isn't really comparable at all. KI does have some really nice particle effects, but as far as all the other graphics in that game, including the dead looking backgrounds...

Re: Xbox One
I remember reading something that the Xbox One dev kits we're able to run Bf3 on Medium with 1080p 60 FPS with no AA. But when they lowered the resolution to 1366 x 768 they bumped it up to Ultra with 16x AA and still got 120 FPS. I just don't think 1080p is even remotely worth it.PSN: KMRBlue1027
