Loved the first Crackdown and could never get further than 10 minutes into the second. Hope they can recapture the magic of the first when it happens. It ended up being so much more than access to the Halo beta

I have not played silent hill since ps2 days. But I know it is one of the most popular franchises and many Sony fans were upset that it was canceled on PS4

The fact that they removed the PT demo gives a little more credence to this story and MS getting the game would be a huge deal because you are looking at

So here are my plans.

I just bought the white xbox one master chief bundle from gamestop for 300 after using store credit I had.

I get home and the B button on the sweet looking white controller is not stuck but it wont work. It has to be pressed real hard for it to recognize a command.

I called gamestop and they said they cannot swap it out from another console I have to return the complete bundle and get a new one. Which sucks because I had installed 3 games before I tested the b button.

I have my best buy elite membership that allows 45 for returns and exchanges and just less then a week ago got a ps4 from best buy and will return it in a couple of weeks to exchange it for the batman limited edition bundle. Cant wait

So I will have the white xbox one and batman console for the ps4 in gun metal

Just to let you know, you should return the PS4 now and pre-order the Batman bundle because it's already selling for more than it's worth on ebay and it's a limited edition.

I downloaded P.T. but never played it. Heard it was a first person corridor horror game and I was like - *shrugs*. Silent Hill on the other hand would be pretty good. Granted, I played the original and hated it but it's a solid IP with a good following. If this happens, I would say that it's a huge gain for Microsoft as it would basically be turning a Sony negative into a Microsoft positive.

Also, if this happens, I would think that its just a matter of time until Konami unloads all of their IP's to the highest bidder. For Sony, if they were smart, they would buy the MGS IP, make MGS V a full exclusive on PS4 (while cancelling the PC, PS3, Xbox 360 and Xbox One versions), delay it until early November along with a PS4 MGSV bundle for $400 and include a physical copy of MGSV Ground Zeroes. That would be bigger than Silent Hill and/or Tomb Raider in my opinion.

As for that list of games -

Halo 5
While I personally have no interest in the franchise whatsoever, it's Microsoft's number one franchise and IP for their brand. Only negative is the developer and the fact that a lot of consumers were pissed off with Halo: MCC.

Silent Hill
Still just a rumor and to be honest, I don't see it happening. If Konami starts selling of their IP catalog, it will be after April next year sometime. Either way, solid IP with a good following. Only problem is - who would be developing the game? Would Kojima be involved? Del Toro? Reedus? Would definitely be interesting and a huge positive but could also turn out to be a cluster****.

Tomb Raider
I enjoyed the 2013 version more than Uncharted 3 and im looking forward to the next one. With that said, for me personally, I have no problem waiting until the PS4 version gets released with im guessing extra content to make up for the game being a timed exclusive.

Quantum Break
I wasn't happy when this was delayed until 2016 but at the same time, I wasn't really surprised either. Really hoping they cut out the TV stuff to the game as I think that will hurt the game more than help it.

Scalebound
I'm guessing a late 2016 release. Don't need to say anything else except - Platinum Games.

Forza 6
Great simulation racing game but racing/driving games don't interest me whatsoever.

Crackdown
I'm guessing a late 2016 release. Never played the original or the sequel as I wasn't interested in it. Have to wait and see how this turns out.

Gears of War
If Black Tusk is doing a remaster of the original, they should just do all four of them. Like the original GOW (God of War), I just don't see the point in remastering one without adding the other three. Makes no sense to me whatsoever.

Three games this holiday season and im guessing three next year and three in 2017 with smaller games being released here and there throughout the year.

Can't wait for E3. Three weeks from this Sunday.

Phil Spencer himself shot down the Silent Hills rumor. While I can definitely see Konami selling their IP catalog at some point, I don't think that it would happen until April 2016 and beyond and that's only if Konami actually decides to do that.

I'm honestly surprised people even entertained that rumor. The particulars of it should've gave people pause: paying billions for a niche franchise and that it was somehow 80% done, yet Konami used the word "embryonic" to describe Silent Hills when they confirmed its cancellation.

1. When the system has the instant on feature and is turned off does it continue to install my game?
2. Is there a certain option to turn the console off by standby mode like the PS4 or is it just by the normal off option?
3. While having a game and the tv on the same screen how do you control the volume of both? and is there a way to easily switch the screens?

Yes

As in, when you choose to power down, you can choose to go into low power OR instant on mode? If you ever want to go to low power mode, you can press+hold power button for 10 seconds (or change it in settings).
3. While having a game and the tv on the same screen how do you control the volume of both? and is there a way to easily switch the screens?
Volume: in Display and Sound settings, there's an audio mixer.
Switch screens: Double tap the Xbox Button to bring up snap center. This lets you quickly switch, snap, unsnap, record, or take a screenshot.
