@DocHolliday
I avoided making any comments in this thread until you marginalized the argument into "You guys don't like change".
Now, it's taken me a while to type this out as I delete and retype constantly as I try to find the right words to get across my point. Not all of them were flattering, some were too aggressive in tone, and some were just as close minded as your initial post.
So as I type, believe what you wanna believe man. Just know that your stance is just as flawed as those who say "Anyone who buys the Xbox One is an idiot (which I've never said by the way)" because your opinion stems from the fact that others don't know any better and are stifling progress.
Everyone in here by now knows the general pros and cons of the Xbox One. Obviously you believe in the future of the system. Cool. But see, that's just the thing. The future isn't now, it's the future. When the future is the present, then maybe those benefits will outweigh the negative. But for now, they don't. And to say that people should invest their money in such a venture to a company that has proven it doesn't listen to consumer feedback is not fiscally responsible.
So are we being stubborn? Maybe. But the stubbornness is also warranted until they prove us wrong.Comment

Re: Xbox One
For those of who are getting or thinking about getting the One what are the top three games you would like to pickup on release day? Here is whats available. http://www.ign.com/wikis/xbox-one/Xb..._Launch_Titles
I think I would have to go:
Battlefield 4
Forza 5
and either FIFA or Madden depending on how they look
I would love to pick up a basketball game but I hate 2K, and not sold on Live yet, so I'll wait a couple weeks and see how they turn out before picking one up.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Both sides continue to push their beliefs way too damn far. How about both sides quit trying to predict the future and maybe the bickering would stop. ****, you're acting like a damn console is the most important thing in the world just because people feel differently that you. This thread is a damn mess and you can't find any real information because of it.Originally posted by BlueNGoldI feel weird for liking a post about exposed penises.Comment

This thread has over 3,900 replies and 109K views, versus the PS4 discussion thread which has 3,300 replies and 100K in views. If OS is a micro-cosm of the greater customer base, I would say that folks are more interested in the Xbone, right, wrong, or indifferent.Originally posted by Edmund BurkeAll that is needed for the triumph of evil, is for good men to do nothing.Comment

Agreed but then offering sales is pretty BS unless it's older games.
The budget for games just keeps going up. Look at Kingdoms of Amalur. For an original IP they needed to sell something like 3 million copies just to break even on that game. Crazy.
I don't believe a word of it until it happens. Until then it's just a pipe dream and empty words no matter which company says it.
What do I know though? I'm just a video gamer who loves video games.badComment

Re: Xbox One
If I am a microcosm of the greater OS base, I would say that folks are more interested in the conversation going on in the Xbone thread. It's about the controversy it brings rather than the console itself. Controversy is always interesting. The PS4 thread is boring, it's just a bunch of happy people talking about their pre-ordered system and the games they're buying for it. There's some interesting and entertaining discussion going on in here, right or wrong but rarely indifferent.PS: You guys are great.

I may have posted twice in the ps4 thread. I have wayyyyyyyy more than that in here - but I already know I will never let an XBone inside my house.badComment
