UGH and ouch. The best EA game (Dragon Age Inquisition) isn't even on the list? Majority of the games are sports games and in the case of Madden, why the hell would you play last year's version or the version from two years ago when you obviously now have Madden 16?

The bundle I listed could get you M16, EA Access and one or two additional games. Seriously, it's not even close.

Didn't you ask me to list the games? Ok, I listed them.

It's EA, so the majority of the games are going to be sports, but it gives a person an opportunity, for free to instantly play some quality games. Let's assume they're making the jump to next gen, perfect opportunity to get their feet wet with Next-Gen.

I don't know why I am wasting my time with the back and forth from someone that's clearly trolling at this point...lol . Smh.

Id take this new bundle over the last for the 1tb and controller, they're close value-wise depending on your goals and in the end the games will come and go but that base hardware is forever for most of us. Ignoring that the older hardware with incentives and needing to pay $30 for EA Access is a no-brainer.

DA is on EA Access at the end of the summer.

Underrated value of EA Access is the free full game trial of all their games also.

I've rarely even used that, I feel like I'm doing it wrong or something. Nice to not do the Madden midnight launch and get a nice fix and the game installed before it's available at retail.

Next they need to just unlock it outright if you preorder, via retail code or automatically do it for digital.

I'm digital at this point and I enjoy not sitting in the lines and being able to play directly at Midnight from the confines of my couch!

Madden is huge because there's no other football game with the NFL license, not because it's a good game. Quality wise, Madden NFL 2005 was better. Eleven years later and so much stuff is STILL missing. Mini camp was one of the best features they ever had and it's still nowhere to be found.

I'll admit I buy Madden but that's because I get 20% off, a $10 cert and after playing it for a few days, it gets traded in to where I actually make a profit off of it. Sadly, Madden isn't worth anything because it's a minimal update every year. If any franchise needs to skip a year and be completely redone, it's Madden.

It was Xbox One Halo: MCC bundle WITH a free disc based copy of Unity, a FREE game of YOUR choice AND a $50 coupon to the Microsoft Store. All of that is worth more than Madden and EA Access.

As for the discounts, that's just for digital which ends up costing the consumer/user more money as opposed to if they just buy the game on disc at Best Buy. Seriously, if you buy digitally and you end up not liking or enjoying the game or it's a bug and glitch filled disaster, you're out $60. That's not a good deal.

As for the hard drive, I can see 1TB being a major factor but ONLY if you're a digital buyer like yourself. Otherwise, you're most likely never even going to need half of that space.

As for Gears, im pretty sure it's a themed console which increases it's value but correct me if im wrong on that which I may be.

I'm NOT throwing dirt on Xbox One at all. I'm simply saying the deal that Microsoft had in June was BETTER than the Madden 16 bundle. Unless you're an EA and/or Madden fan, I really don't see how anyone can look at the Madden 16 bundle as being a better value than the one that Microsoft had a few weeks ago.

So before doing research you claim gears one is better? No is not a theme and is just 500gb. Am not even sure the new controller is on that bundle

1tb is huge because all xbox one games need to be installed even if you just have a disc. And the new controller is a big plus and ea access...But what I dont understand is that if you bought an xbox one and sold it or traded it or returned it within a week after...WHY are you on this thread talking about xbox one is we know is not for you.

Why would I go and give my opinions on a thread that I have shown is not for me....Are you that insecure about being just a ps4 owner that you must make it a personal mission to tell real xbox owners what is a good deal and what is not.... Yea I get it we all have our own opinions but they only have any cred when you know...Actually own the console....

At the risk of getting chewed out I sorta agree with Daniel. I guess it comes down to gaming preference. The problem with all of these bundles to me is they are great deals but they always include something that I don't want. It's like if they bundled an Xbox with a bunch of Amazon Prime deals...."get an Xbox with 8 Large Garbage Cans, 20 lbs of plywood, a double stacked file cabinet, Milli Vanilli's Greatest Hits, and a yearly subscription to PETA magazine" for $399. Great value vs buying all those separately, but no thanks.

Still waiting for a R6 Bundle to pop up, then we're talking.

Microsoft did not say this is a bundle for Overkick or Daniel. This is for football fans so if that does not interest you then by all means I agree with you but it does not change the fact that you are getting 90 dollar value for free. Just because the game is not your cup of team does not make it some prime deals and vasaline or magzines...

Microsoft continues to provide bundles for all types. With Madden they are targeting their football fans who not only love madden but have not yet joined ea access and now they can for free and get 1tb and new controller

They also release a GOW console with the game for free for those GOW fans which there are plenty and get the beta for the new gears online

They release one for racing fans themed with the game for free and nice paint job without raising the price of the console

They will have a Halo xbox one and from what I was told by a birdie a bundle in November with the elite controller included.

See they are trying to hit all types of fans.

If you do not like any of those bundles then is all good because is a choice...But it does not take away from the excellent value it provides.

I'm not trolling or starting anything. If I was, I would have simply said that every Xbox One bundle sucks but I didn't. I said that the bundle in June WAS BETTER than the Madden 16 bundle in my opinion.

As for EA Access, in general, it's a great deal especially for those who are fans of EA and their games. I'm not whatsoever so for me personally, the Madden 16 bundle is nowhere near the value that the June bundle was.

As for the Gears of War bundle, my mistake. I thought it was a themed console bundle. Since it's not, I find that bundle to be inferior to the June bundle as well. Of course, im sure someone will say that im trolling or bashing Xbox One because I don't like the Gears or Madden bundle yet I actually liked the June bundle because it was one hell of a deal.

As for PS4, I love my PS4 and literally just finished The Witcher 3 after over 300 hours and tomorrow, it's time for Zombie Army Trilogy and Wolfenstein: The Old Blood so yeah, im good.

And if anything, all of those bashing me for no apparent reason must be regretting Xbox One. After all, I never ever bashed Xbox One or Microsoft. I simply said that I preferred the June bundle and think that is was and still is a far better deal. I didn't know that a difference of opinion was frowned upon here and what's truly sad is that no one even realizes that im comparing one Xbox One bundle to a different Xbox One bundle and yet, everyone thinks im trolling or starting something when im clearly not.

Let me see if I can make my point another way - let's calculate the "excellent" value it provides:

Here is an XBox One 500 GB MCC Bundle for $346 on Amazon

So subtract the MCC from the bundle and a 500GB Xbox One is actually valued at $346 - $33 = $313.
Madden costs $60
EA Access costs $30
$313 + 60 + 30 = $403

According to amazon, that's the value for a 500GB Xbox, Madden and Ea Access.

In other words, this bundle is giving you an extra 500GB of space for free. Or you're getting EA Access for free. However you want to slice it and dice it. Either way it's $30. And I didn't even take the cheapest prices out there. I also didn't consider the fact if you already have EA Access or BB GCU you can get madden cheaper than $60 if you pre-ordered it separately.

Is the deal a value? Sure. "Excellent" is not the adjective I would use to describe it.
