I gotta get used to this controller. The movements on the sticks have different feels/responsiveness to the DS4. I can't control my shots on handcannons like I could on PS4.

I've played a few games on both systems and never noticed a difference in sensitivity (though destiny wasn't one of them.)


Maybe a dumb question, but is the XBO on a different input than the PS4 is/was? Do you have the same settings...game mode, filtering off, etc? That could affect input lag.


If it is just a sensitivity thing, you could try changing the settings in game?

There is definitely a difference. You'll get used to it though. Just going to take some time

I'm really liking the size and position of the thumbsticks over the DS4.

I knew what I was getting into positioning wise coming from the 360. But the diameter of the thumbsticks imo are understated and way more comfortable.

I'm playing on Xbox right now and I'm really liking the thumbstick size as you mentioned.

It's definitely a different feel from the PS4 controller. It also feels much bigger

- Face buttons, bumpers, and d-pad = better on DS4
- Thumbsticks, triggers, and fit of the controller in hand = X1 controller

All that said, I replaced my DS4 sticks with X1 sticks and it's a damn near perfect device now.

When I had my PS4 I did the same thing. Xbone sticks are better IMO.

Exactly how I feel comparing both of the controllers. Only other thing I must note as a personal preference is the rumble on the xbox one is much better and having them assigned to triggers depending on situations in game makes characters feel like they have weight to them

Like NBA 2K you get the rumble on the right trigger if the ball is being dribbled with right hand and etc etc for left hand

Or in Forza you get the triggers bumping depending on the acceleration and deceleration along with curve sharp turns

Or in Madden when hit sticking or stiff arming you feel the rumble of hits and collisions which give weight to the players

That's probably the best deal including an Xbox One this year. Either the console is $70 or the TV is $150. Either way, great deal.
