I'm liking the screen shot of the new U/I that came out today. I wasn't a big fan of what I saw at e3. This looks much better

Re: Xbox One
My point was, is gaming went all digital, I'd have to be out. Where I live, my internet simply can't provide me speeds fast enough to make all digital worth my time. It's got nothing at all to do with Xbox/PS. It'd be my opinion regardless of which system I owned.
And no, it does not at all take the same amount of time on my Xbox One to download/install a game digitally, as opposed to installing from the disc only. I have no idea what you're talking about here. I can install a game from the disc in a reasonable amount of time, 20 minutes or whatever it usually takes, if I download a 20-40gb game, as 6mbps, it takes 12+ hours or more with my internet speeds. That's out of my control.Last edited by brandon27; 08-05-2015, 06:26 AM.Miami Dolphins - Detroit Red Wings - Toronto Blue Jays - Michigan Wolverines - CANADAComment

Re: Xbox One
No. I've never owned a playstation of any sort in my life. Always an Xbox, 360, and now the One. I'm not sure what that has to do with anything though.

On PS4 it downloads super quick from disc but takes for ever via digital download.
I also never tried to install from disc on my xbox one without internet. Will start to try that and see how fast it improvesComment

Re: Xbox One
Regarding downloading and installing...
Installing a game on PS4 is quick. Last game was The Old Blood which is around 40GB and that took a few minutes if that. I only installed one game on Xbox One and maybe it's a bad example but Ryse literally took over an hour. And no I wasn't connected online simply because I was online with my PC and I can't do both at the same time. It's either one or the other.
Downloading a game is difficult for me to comment on. I have downloaded the PSN/Indie games and they can take 15-20 minutes or so but in regards to disc based games, I obviously haven't done that. Xbox 360 wasn't bad though and faster than PS3. Can't comment on downloading games on Xbox One but when I eventually buy it again and purchase Ori, I'll follow up but that's going to be a while.
Don't know if it's improved or if it was just due to the Ryse game itself but if installing games still takes that long on Xbox One, im assuming that it's the speed of the disc drive itself.
Funny thing is that when I install a PS4 game for the first time, im always connected online but the game always installs first and if there's any updates, it will download the current one second. It never does them both at the same time which im happy about. I prefer step by step. Game disc first and then, if any, the updates second.
Definitely understand where the other guy is coming from because if the speed is slow, downloading stuff can take forever. And it's simply not worth it if that's the case.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Finally getting the hang of the One, after setting up last night.
As much as I depise EA for disappointing me in the football area, shouts out to them for this EA Access app. I can definitely see me getting my money's worth as well as getting to preview Madden to see if I like it this year [emoji122] [emoji122] [emoji122]Last edited by cam21224; 08-05-2015, 07:56 PM.Horseshoes & HollyWoodComment

For you guys who own both systems ...
I owned PS3 and Xbox 360 last gen and noticed the 360 was much better and rarely lagged via Wifi . Is that still the cost this gen? I'm tired of my ps4 dropping so much#1 Laker fan

Re: Xbox One
I have over 50mbps on FIOS and it reads accurately all the time on xbox one but on ps4 it always cuts that more then half to about 15-19mbps
I cant do anything on ps4 with any type of speed without hard wiring. Xbox One has no such easy except installing games from disc which is another storyComment
