everyone has their own opinion on what games are good, you don't have to agree with them. Same with the system, people can give opinions to "help you love it" but if you don't, you don't. Play what you enjoy.


If it doesn't draw you in, then use it for Halo (and other exclusives you may want to play down the road) and for free games with Gold. Over time maybe that is all you will use it for, or maybe it will grow on you. Really the only way to "love it" is to use it and enjoy using it. Getting talked into it is kind of cheating yourself from playing what you want to play.

I am sort of in the same boat as the guy you quoted. I own two Xbox Ones and have owned the one since Day One. I love Microsoft and was a much bigger Xbox 360 player than a PlayStation 3 player. This generation, at least so far anyways, I'm more PS4 than Xbox One. As some of you know there's a couple of reasons for that, the fact that you can use Spotify in the background on PS4 and that you can easily share to Facebook on the PS4.

However, aside from those two issues, which I believe will be corrected soon, I just have not had as much fun with my Xbox One overall. Forza is fantastic, and reason enough for me as a racing fan to own the system. Yes I love Project Cars but I still prefer Forza due to the artistic aspects I enjoy in creating liveries.

But for me, as much as I want to get back to being an Xbox guy, I just haven't felt it yet. I like both systems controllers so that's not really an issue. Yes I prefer the PS4 one a bit more right now but I think that is simply because I use it more and that's about it.

We do use our Xbox Ones a ton, for multimedia hubs, and we also use the voice integration to the maximum, so we'd never consider getting rid of them, but I do admit to really being a bit disappointed with the gaming on the X1 so far, comparative to the PS4.

I do harbor hope that with games like Quantum Break and others that the tide may turn. Combine that with getting unsnapped background music and easy share to Facebook/YouTube and I may just end up changing my mind but so far I guess I'll have to continue to wear the "Sony Pony" label that I've been branded online since I dare to criticize the Xbox One at all..

As the guy above me said "Come on man, I want to love this system..." but Microsoft so far is not making it happen for me. I do have a mild crush on my Xbox but I want to fall madly in love with it, LOL

Well I've had my X1 since Oct 2nd. I don't want to pass judgement to quickly but I've put in a lot of hours already and as a gaming console I find the X1 to be a fail. I've been playing Forza 6 , a decent game but no where near as good as Project Cars. The A.I. in Forza are horrible. I got EA access so I could play Battlefield 4, I'm getting Lag and the game does not look as good as it does on the other console. I noticed Ride is out, a game I've been waiting for. I wanted to get it for the One but when I tried the demo , it looks no where near as good as it does on the other console and it was glitchy as heck. The bike was staggering around the track. Last gen I was Xbox all the way, this Gen after 5 days with the one, I'm going back to my PS4 until Halo 5 gets here. I hope that game will change my mind, Forza 6 certainly did not.

And what are all these great exclusive games the one is supposed to have. I don't see them. That's the one thing the Xbox people keep touting over the PS4, as it stands now I've got better exclusive on the PS4.

Don't mean to be harsh, but I was expecting a lot more from the X1. Help me out, I want to love this thing.

PS: Does anyone have Project Cars for the X1? If so how does it play. I was considering buying it again for the One if it runs smooth.

You had an agenda since day one with your rant about not being able to use points to buy EA access claiming you are already dissapointed after that.

Eh, don't think that was really necessary.

Interested in how Cars compared to Forza though, thought the former was fairly underwhelming and have had a lot of friends singing the praises of Forza. Does Cars have a variable AI to emulate the Forza drivatars or something?

Did the troubleshooting, my Kinect appears dead.

It's ok to not like something. Everyone has different expectations, wants, and needs when spending their money on a product.

He clearly says "help me out, I want to love this thing". Doesn't sound like an agenda to me. Sounds like a guy who just dropped hundreds of dollars on something he genuinely wants to enjoy.

Would you please stop passing judgment on other posters who's console opinions do not match your own.

I need to get back to Forza and get better, sorry for the crappy drivatar guys hahaha.

JMD, if you don't like it then just play it for Halo. Sunset Overdrive and Titanfall are really good IMO. Just sucks that the Titanfall player base is not that large.

That sucks, had to have one sent back once...

Had another stop working and had to re-update it somehow following one of the online vids and that got it back on....something like hard reboot with it off and later plug it back in at the right time...

First, don't force yourself to like something you don't. This is how I feel with MGSV which I'll leave at that. Second, im not a Halo fan and won't comment on that but if you're a Tomb Raider fan, I do recommend buying and playing it because while I haven't obviously played it yet, it looks very good and Crystal Dynamics is a good developer and I think that the game is going to be very good but overshadowed by other games.

I own both consoles and I agree with you about the Battle field 4 does look better on the other console, but that was a launch title. I love project cars and it looks beautiful on the ps4 and prettier than forza 6, but forza kills it on content. Way more car selection. Project cars only has a handful of cars to pick. They're both very good to me, but forza offers a lot more. As far as graphics I think they're looking a lot closer now especially on all sports games. I also believe the Xbox is a bit better for online gaming. In all you can't go wrong with either console and exclusives are coming.

Unless they really drop the ball you will have a long wait. I really enjoyed the 5 Halo games I have in my collection.

The Store here where I buy my games (when I buy discs) Has Project Cars for the X1 for $35.00 new. I'm going to grab it.
