Re: Xbox One
If you're spending time arguing about which is better, you do. I have a theory that people who spend time console warring are just doing so out of jealous/envy for what they do not have.
Oh yeah and as said above, you need a killer PC too

Re: Xbox One
Ah, gotcha.
Now that PC thing... I kinda want one. Well, not a PC but a killer laptop so I can play my games in all their glory even when I’m not at home.

Re: Xbox One
The Max Q laptops that been out are awesome because they aren't huge monster laptops but they are expensive. I have a Predator Triton 700 and that thing is a beast and its super thin.Ah, gotcha.

Re: Xbox One
I got this laptop to review from Best Buy and it's really, really good for games in terms of value (around $700 depending on how you get it configured.Ah, gotcha.

Only thing is, trust me on this: GET THE SSD, in my review of the laptop the only thing I said was bad was the loading times for games..once they're loaded though they play smooth as butter.
It's pretty much like having an Xbox One or PS4 on the go with you in regards to loading times and how the games play.
Here's a link to the one with the SSD:

Re: Xbox One
I’m really interested in this. This is all I need to play games on the go? It will run mostly anything?Comment

Re: Xbox One
Everything I've thrown at it, it runs well, and by that I mean about the same as the Xbox One/PS4. For example, it runs Forza 7 really well like my Xbox One (maybe not quite the Xbox One X but pretty close).
The only game I recall it being annoying with is the newest Warhammer game, it took like 4 minutes for it to load but once it loaded it was ok. And again, that's cuz of the regular non-SSD drive.
I think if you had the laptop with the SSD drive it'd be fantastic. I do plan to upgrade this one to SSD next year because I think that's the only achilles heel in this system.
I haven't tried Madden with it yet but I have it loaded on there and can try it and report back if you guys want.Streaming PC & PS5 games, join me most nights after 6:00pm ET on TwitchTV https://www.twitch.tv/shaunh20

I want them, I don't have time for them, so I went with the preferred ecosystem. If Sony wants my business again the PS5 will be backward compatible and they'll mimic or innovate on some of Microsoft's innovations - or I'll never own another PlayStation again. Nobody else needs to follow in my footsteps and I don't feel the need to tear anyone down for a contrary opinion. No war necessary.Comment

Re: Xbox One
Yeah, I agree with the time restraints argument. If you don't have the free time to play a good amount of games, better off just owning your preferred console.I want them, I don't have time for them, so I went with the preferred ecosystem. I do think that you'll get PS4 BC and cross-play on PS5.Comment

Yeah, this...I have enough digital games and whatnot too that make it more appealing than the past to stick with one vs. another.I want them, I don't have time for them, so I went with the preferred ecosystem. I get that MS's first party games haven't been great...and you can still knock them now, but they're obviously trying to fix it, so in a few years that could change. They have to actually prove it, but it's not like they aren't trying. You just can't right that ship immediately after their bad luck/bad decisions with past first party games (scalebound, etc)Nintendo Switch Friend Code: SW-7009-7102-8818Comment
