My wife doesn't play games, but it's way easier to use for Netflix and stuff vs. some other streaming stick. She doesn't have to change inputs on the tv, etc.

We also like voice commands and tv stuff. She's pretty good about my gaming habit, but I've cut down my time a lot too...just to do family stuff instead. She never complains when I buy stuff, especially now since i'm being so cheap.

I tell her that it's cheaper than me going to the bar every weekend, and this way she knows exactly what i'm doing lol

So true. Always say to my wife when I'm on a gaming marathon or just bought something new. "Hey, I could be doing drugs and chasing loose women"

To which she usually replies, "yes, playing video games in your undies with a case of beer is better than doing drugs and chasing loose women. I know I know"

Hahaha I tell my wife the same thing. She enjoys watching me play games that are not shooters or sports.

Even using Netflix is easy on our smart TV. On the controller it has a Netflix and an Amazon Prime button right on it that starts the apps for her. She's got it made lol.

But maybe I'll start using the excuse of "well at least I'm not out drinking at a bar with my friends". That could work...for a little while...

I had just received a check from Draft Kings (cashed out) and sold my El Gato so I had some extra money to spend. Add on the Amazon points I've accumulated and I'm getting the system for about $100 at this point.

The package arrives today but my girlfriend doesn't know about it yet. I'm trying to get it in the house and set up before she gets home from work. This is already causing problems in my relationship haha.

Most amazing part of this story is you actually made some cash on draft kings.

You need to put your foot down and tell her how it's going to be...then go buy her and expensive purse. It works for me.

Buy her an iPad. My wife watches hgtv on that and refreshes Pinterest for hours while I play.

My wife works as well so I try to play when she is not at home, helps. Fact is we do stuff that annoy women, as they do stuff that annoys us. Once you learn to minimize the annoyances and meet half way both will be happy. If your proactive and do stuff first that makes her happy, always works for me. I will help clean around house, clothes , etc. If she still is giving you a hard time, time to take break and find out what is really bothering her, if just about to much gaming then it is probably true. Ease back on gametime, spend some time with her. If you want to be in a relationship, then be in a relationship. If not, be single. I always try to play when either she is not there, she is sleeping early because of work, or busy doing girl things and we already got things done around house. Balance is the key.
