All went well and I grabbed Battlefront as my free game...

For those who don't know, two games that were originally scheduled to release on February 23rd, 2016 have been delayed.

Mirror's Edge Catalyst has been delayed three months to May 24th, 2016.

Deus Ex: Mankind Divided has been delayed six months to August 23rd, 2016.

Personally, I have no interest in MEC and the delay to August for Deus Ex is a good thing as summer months are always slow. And on a related note, I wouldn't be surprised if other games scheduled in the first four months of 2016 get delayed to later in the year.

Anyone else having issues where you get a prompt that says it couldn't download your save data or something like that. Then it says try again or play offline.

I have been trying for 30 minutes. 2 hard reboots a router reboot. Same. Went to xbox.com and to support but it says everything is up and running well.

I can see my friends list and whatnot. So I'm connected to Live. Just can't get to any of my game saves.

Ok so it is not just me. I had 40 minutes to kill before work part 2 of the day. But couldn't get to my NHL season. So much for that. Hope it gets fixed soon

Is there an area in the new UI that shows updates to games now? There used to be the little asterisk on the game tiles, but that doesn't appear to exist anymore. At least I never saw one on my Madden 16 game tile with the most recent patch.

I wish they had some detail screens with patch notes etc. Or an update screen/hub somewhere that you can go to in order to see any recent updates the console has downloaded and applied while away.

When the current-gen consoles were first announced, I was into PC gaming and thought to myself I won't need a new console since the only games I really played on consoles were Halo and some sports titles. I could do without the sports titles as I play in a bunch of sim leagues that hold me over.

Last Friday night, I had about nine of my buddies over my house and we kicked it old school with a Halo night. I'm talking Halo 1, old school XBOX and original paddles, two TVs and we must have played for about six hours straight. Great times.

Then I started looking at the XBOX One since I knew a new Halo had just released. Looking at Amazon, they were selling the X1 - Master Chief bundle for ~$370. I had just received a check from Draft Kings (cashed out) and sold my El Gato so I had some extra money to spend. Add on the Amazon points I've accumulated and I'm getting the system for about $100 at this point.

The package arrives today but my girlfriend doesn't know about it yet. I'm trying to get it in the house and set up before she gets home from work. This is already causing problems in my relationship haha.

The funny thing about women is that she'll use it and enjoy it too but she'll still be like weird about you buying it. My wife constantly complains about all of my tech toys but yet she uses all of them and enjoys using them too, LOL

I must be lucky. My wife doesn't care at all. She actually watches me play fallout and asks me questions while I'm playing. Only complaint she has is hearing the same 5 songs over and over.

The funny thing about women is that she'll use it and enjoy it too but she'll still be like weird about you buying it. My wife constantly complains about all of my tech toys but yet she uses all of them and enjoys using them too, LOL

Trust me: she has ZERO interest in using it haha. I'll have to sell her on the Netflix or Amazon Prime app when I go split screen or else she will be seriously cutting into my play time.
