Gears of war 4 native 4k with one of the best HDR implementations and 4k texture is easily the best graphics this gen after red dead 2. Imo

I think Gears 4 HDR is better then RDR2, the HDR effect in RDR2 seems off.

I have both Versions and I knew something was off.

There are only 5 games this gen that I feel are head and shoulders above any other game in terms of the quality of HDR

That is

Gears of war 4
Horizon Zero Dawn
Forza Horizon 4
Gran Turismo
God of War

Yeah, I had to turn off HDR in RDR2. It's not good.

Red dead still looks more realistic to me with hdr on. It’s looks cartoony with it off.

Anyone consistently using 2 consoles? What's your setup to get the most of Game Pass / Digital Purchases? The one I don't use needs to be my home console right? Think I have to wait a bit longer to change that (think you can only change it once a year?)

I expect I'll be buying Game Pass / Live for an account on that box which I'm fine with. One wrinkle I'll probably have is the Ultimate Edition of Forza is on my account, so my wife might always have to remain signed in on a controller on her Xbox to play it even if she has Game Pass? Will test that tonight.

Got my 2nd One X from Taco Bell When it starts up it makes the Taco Bell 'ding' noise, lol.

I think an issue they have with the HDR settings in RDR2 is the way it’s implemented. They’re settings are based on how it looks to your eyes and doesn’t have something to measure it off like other games. I still think RDR2 is the best looking game this gen, but the best HDR I’ve seen so far is between Forza horizon 4 and gears of war 4.

I *think* if you make your wife's xbox your home you'll have access to Game Pass games? That would be worth a test. Natively it gets access to all your games without being logged in, but I don't know if it does the Game Pass as well. That would be pretty cool if she was in your family and the pass worked as well.

Yeah, I think if I make hers my home console everything will fall into place nicely. I don't want her to have to sign into my account just to play... which presumably would then be a problem if I logged in downstairs.

Everything I've read this morning says I make hers my home, won't need to be logged in, she'll have full access to gold / library. I can then login downstairs and we can play the same games together.

Everything I've read this morning says I make hers my home, won't need to be logged in, she'll have full access to gold / library. I can then login downstairs and we can play the same games together.

Exactly...I just wasn't 100% sure on the Game Pass working but it should in theory.

This is a really nice way for families though....otherwise it gets expensive.

Red dead still looks more realistic to me with hdr on. It’s looks cartoony with it off.

Wait so How does this work again? My home console is in the living room and I have 150 digital games on this X which is my Home console, my son logs in and gets to play everything and get to use my Live account as well, If I had another X console in the Bedroom, since my account with all the games is on it is the Home console, how would I be able to play all my games on the new console with causing an issue if my son is playing?
