Holy heck Titanfall is really fun. Haven't been this excited about a release in a long time.

I was apart of alpha, and was not impressed, but did beta as well, and now I am on board!!! Going to be a blast!

I own a Xbox One and find Titanfall to way over hyped. Don't get me wrong. It's great fun but it feels half baked without a campaig mode. JMO.

I like that they went MP only, I really hate this new trend of COD/BF to make a weak couple hour SP campaign. Kinda like a sports car with a backseat no human will ever fit in, if MP is your goal then just do MP. Its a waste of time and resources to make a couple hour SP just to say you have it.

Them trying to get a few more suckers to buy in so they can buy their DLC. Nothing to write a news article about.

Then again, it's IGN so I guess that's to be expected.

I'm not sure why people are saying there's no campaign in titanfall. There's a campaign option under one of the game mode options however it's online. Unless it's the no offline campaign people are talking about, if so then disregard my post.

Yeah I think people mean a true SP experience.

I'm okay with teams focusing their efforts on a single experience, and given the power of these machines + the cloud, more MP only titles are a good thing.

Still, we need the Mass Effect type experience as well, and the MP there was truly tacked on.

This I can't understand. I wasn't even planning on buying Titanfall until I had time with the Alpha and the Beta. There is nothing half-baked about this game. It is the most fun I can remember having with a game and I have only used 2 of the titans and played 2 of the maps.


Everything about the game feels polished from a gameplay perspective. Their whole idea and concept works and plays so extremely well. Gun play feels great and being in a Titan is unrivaled. I am just glad they came along to breathe some fresh air into the genre. I can't wait to get my hands on the retail version. I almost can't play the beta anymore knowing my progress isn't saving.

I agree 100%. I came in with low expectations and maybe that helped, but I have had an absolute blast with the Beta. The only thing I find a bit disappointing is the graphics - but for a game that is MP only you have to figure the graphics will take a bit hit to support better latency and stability. But the graphics are no slouch, don't get me wrong.

Most importantly I do agree that it is a breath of fresh air in a stale genre. The gunplay is on point and playing as a titan is enjoyable. Looking forward to 3/11.
