The only time constraint I noticed in Dead Rising 3 is that side quests will expire. But new ones always pop up.

I did not care for 1 or 2, but am having a blast with DR3. Brilliant decision to run cut scenes with whatever whacky costume you have on. I haven't laughed that hard during a game in a long time. Co-op is a great fun too.

Yeah, it's nothing like the first one with crazy time stuff....I wouldn't worry about it here.

Anyone else having issues with the controller randomly disconnecting ? Seems to always happen when I'm playing 2K particularly on a jump shot. Almost like its tied to the X button. Its random and happens maybe once every other session. But it only happens when I play 2K and its on a jump shot.
It’s easier to do the right thing, than to explain why you didn’t.

I had this issue. Swapped out my controller and it hasn't happened once. Good luck

Speaking of controllers, MS is fixing the precision of the sticks (making them less twitchy) in the upcoming February console update. The fix was requested by the devs of Titanfall.

Also, it looks like MS is also working with Respawn to develop a new version of the console's upscaler, but it is unknown if it is for all games below 1080P or strictly Titanfall.

I should have knocked on wood. I'm getting the disconnected controller issue again. It started when I tried using the headset.

Supposedly restarting the system could have it update - but that's just from what I've seen on Twitter. Someone restarted and said they got it.

Try putting it in suspended mode and then coming out of that. That's my last guess, as that may be what I saw on Twitter - and I'm uneducated on the XBone about Off/Suspended/whatever other options they have so my mind defaulted to off.

If you leave the Xbox in Instant ON mode, it will update during OFF Peak hours.

                                Per Major Nelson
As I noted in my blog post about the December system update, we’ve changed the way these work on Xbox One to reduce the impact on our customers. For the vast majority of Xbox One owners who use “Instant On” (the low power state that allows you to instantly power up your console by saying “Xbox On”), the console automatically checks for updates when customers turn it off. This means now that we’ve made the February update available, the next time you turn your console off it will take the update during off-peak hours in your local time. All that to say, never fear you’ll see it sometime over the weekend. As a reminder, here are some of the features you’ll see in this update:

The ability to see and manage your storage space. With this update, you will find it easy to find how much space your content takes up and better manage your content. You can also control your install lineup and more easily manage your download queue. We’ve separated My Games and My Apps into separate lists, so you can easily create separate queues for both. Now you can pick the order in which you want your content to load and we’ve added a boot progress indicator so you can better track updates while they load.
The battery power indicator is back! You can see it right on the home screen, so you can easily track how much battery life is left on your controller.
And, you will be able to use your USB keyboard with your Xbox One.

                                Thanks!

Tip: Once you get the update, you can press the Xbox button to see the battery indicator on screen in the lower right next to the clock.
