After the new update... Does anybody else's 360 take longer to completely shut off?

After I click the Turn off button in Dashboard... It will shut off but then the power button will flash green twice and then finally power off.... I do have my Cloud thing turned on (If that matters)

Anybody else have this? What does/could it mean? I just bought this 360 2 weeks ago.

Probably cloud sync, maybe unplug the network cable and shut down, see if it does it then. Could still see it trying even then though and hesitating on shutdown.

Does it take you guys' dashboard a long time to come up when you first boot the xbox? Takes mine a good 10-15 seconds to load everything. Pretty annoying.

I always liked the blades myself, honestly. Although descending style was definitely nice as well.

It is what it is though I guess.

Yeah, blades and descending-style dashboards...back when themes and avatars actually mattered.

I turned my Cloud saving thing off and I'm still experiencing the 5-10 seconds of the power button blinking before my 360 completely shuts off... Any ideas?

Got the update, not too shabby. I like the larger boxes or squares or whatever they are called, the adds still suck but they ain't going away. IE is there too, it's no better or worse then the browser on the PS3. Having the pins on the home screen is a nice touch.

I'm not a big fan, really.

It won't matter to me much either way. I rarely use my Xbox.

I sort of like the browser, but no Flash support is lame.

I guess most won't be using it for anything with Flash that they can't all ready do with other Apps.

I'm glad the XMB/PS3 hasn't undergone a bunch of changes. Sometimes, too much change isn't a good thing. They probably should have just patched in the browser and a few new features and left it how it was.

Then again, we all see things differently .

Smartglass is a nice touch. I like how you can use Bing to search for something and go right to it. For instance, if I'm in Netflix, watching a show and use the smartglass to search for a show that shows up on Hulu, I can select it and it takes me right to that show and is ready to play. That eliminates a few steps.

One thing I don't see is the incorporation of your phones keypad to search for things in Netflix. That would be nice.

Smartglass in conjunction with the Windows 8 app and the Android app is pretty cool. It actually feels like the next step from Kinect - outside of being a gaming machine, I can now just find what I want from Hulu/Netflix/etc and get it on my 360 without fumbling through my controller and/or Kinect.
